They are good for a factory look
The adjusters are a problem since these do not come pre adjusted

Get these for your Passat B5.5!
I had such a horrible time with purchasing other headlight assemblies for my Passat B5.5(my originals broke and started aiming 1ft in front of me) and ended up returning all of them as the aligning screws did absolutely nothing! Almost all of the “OE” lights either don’t align or the aligners “fall off” if you try and adjust them and go too far. These are fully adjustable(it does take a lot of screwing just fyi!), the inner screw adjusts up/down and the outer adjusts left/right! These throw light REALLY well but they are “halogen dim” as I like to call them so I’ll probably get some LEDS(H7 low) (H1 high) to get a brighter white light! If I need replacements I’ll order these again. The “angel eyes” add a little “pop” to the front end and I like the added touch! Again, IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE ADJUSTING YOUR LIGHTS GET THESE! THEY JUST WORK!

GOOD LIGHTS FOR GOOD PRICE
For the price there super nice. Was impressed by the halos and quality of light. Lights would be much better if low beams weren’t halogen and came with hid or led to fit the halo color. Overall I’m satisfied.

Looks and work great... better than factory..

Good. A bit hard to adjust.
Tested another similar model from a competitor this one is way better a bit hard to adjust the beam. You need to turn the adjustment screw quite a lot. The lights fore the low beam ar the standard bulb the one fore the hi-beam looks like the one for the fog light but slightly longer. The construction is of descent quality hi mid-range. Trust me some of those light ar way cheep this one is not bad... I could be slightly better but would cost more. For the price its a good deal.

Fit & work well
I can see at night again! They installed pretty well but were aimed way high. The adjusters work fine & I am quite satisfied.

Look amazing but not for longevity
I love how they look and the price isn’t terrible. My running lights went out first on my left and that was about 3 months after buying them. As good as they look they could be a lot brighter for night drives if you’re concerned about visibility.
