ThinkMax Mini RC Kart Rider / RC Mini Racing Car

I wanted an inexpensive rc car or truck to chase my cat and keep her active.This is a very nice little car for $18 shipped.The car is fairly durable and quiet.I have other rc cars and trucks but they were much larger and too fast for indoors.This little kart fits the bill perfectly, just enough speed to keep the cats attention and nottoo fast to scare her.I have since purchased 2 more karts for my 6 and 7 year old neighbors and they love them.They have lost of fun staying inside where it is warm and running the karts.The karts run very well on hardwood and some carpets, they are not powerful enough for grass.In all the kart is a good buy at $18 and small kids will love it, older kids will want somethingfaster and bigger.For more speed and size I recommend the Redcat Racing Sumo Truck for $60 on Amazon.

Pretty good for the price. A little disappointing in how its speed drops when you turn. Be careful of hair buildup in the back axle. If you are driving this where dogs or cats live, you will have a hard time keeping the car moving. I had so much hair in the axle on my first run that it stopped the car from moving anywhere.It has great range for being so small, and the remote is super handy and solid. Charges quickly.

I bought this to play with my crawling infant and it does the trick. It is not the most responsive toy out there but so far it is fairly durable. It slows when turning and has large burst of speed when not turning. It will not spin out when quickly going from forward to reverse but is still fun for smaller kids. I am thinking about getting another one. The controller is large and takes SIX aa batteries. It recharges quickly and runs till I get bored.

There are a few problems with this car:1. It is fast enough in a straight line, but as soon as you turn, it slows to a pitifully slow speed.2. The turn radius is absolutely awful! 2.5 ft radius for a car that is less than 6 in in length? Atrocious.The build is cheap and the range on the remote is horrid. Save your money and buy a quad copter for an extra 10 bucks.

It's a nice little car. Not for running in the grass as it's very lightweight and not too powerful. The remote is decent but there's no real speed control... it's full speed forward/reverse no way to go slower unless turning.The car charges pretty quick and runs for a good while on a single charge. No issues so far.

Fun to play with for my child. Battery power is not great at all on the charge. It held up better than the Toyota supra I bought as well with this one which is no more and broke on the first day out of the box. This however has survived my two year olds kick and drops.

Excellent product!! Just as I expected.

I bought this as a 'project' toy - with the intention of adding 'other' electrical accessories to it ... in other words, I always intended to take the toy apart. When I did take the toy apart, I realized that it had not been assembled correctly at the 'factory' - the "motor mount" had 1 of the 2 screws misaligned - did not get screwed in - and so the motor was literally hanging by the 'shocks' and the electrical wires. The car would function this way - I suspect - but I also suspect it would not have lasted very long before the motor ripped / broke loose. Quality control issue. After assembling the car correctly, it works satisfactorily. The range between the controller and the toy is fairly limited. I like the rechargeable batteries in the car - nice job, and I like that the controller can recharge those in-car batteries without removing them.
