It's alright, with some modifications.
This may only apply to the one I received, but the underside of the thumb grip on the left stick was too low and would rub against the face of the controller, making it stick and just feel terrible. I took the rubber cap off, cut the underside part off and glued the grip back on and now it feels fine. I also took the controller apart and stretched out the springs on the L and R buttons slightly because they were too weak and wouldn't completely return to the neutral position. The sticks are much stiffer than the original and it still feels pretty bad compared to OEM, but after these mods and using it for a little while, I got used to it and it feels fine. Keep your expectations in check for a $25 controller and I'd say it's a good wavebird alternative at a MUCH lower cost. I might buy another one because the wireless is so convenient.

Good Wavebird Alternative
Works with the Wii in the GC controller ports even if you have the plastic door cover present (see attached image)The Left thumbstick is suprinsgly STIFFNo rumble, just like the actual Nintendo Wavebird controller. The trigger button seems to function like the analog ones on the official gamecube controllers. So far I’ve tested this with a handful of games (LoZ: Windwaker/ Super Mario Sunshine/ LoZ: Twilight Princess/ Super Smash Bros. Melee. ) and it’s working fine.Overall a good alternative to the wavebird controller if you’re looking for a wireless controller for your gamecube or Wii.I just wish this had rumble motors/ support.

Decent for an outdated console
I have used this for a couple months now and it has performed well. The range is okay, not the best as it disconnects at around 9 feet.Quality is good, buttons and triggers are comfortable and the ascetic is normal for the console.Overall not bad.

GameCube 3rd party controller
I ordered this thinking it was the same as the original GameCube controller with vibration, I was wrong. Nothing on description says anything. The controller does work and doesn’t affect other 3rd party controllers, so it works wirelessly but no vibration.

Disconnects
Disconnects a couple of times even though up close to gamecube. The controller is good its just the connection to the receiver it comes with keeps disconnecting even though I am up close to the gamecube and when starting up gamecube it has a little trouble pairing and controller power light does not turn on for a bit.

Does Not Stay Connected
The wireless connection continually drops. This happened with 2 different controllers so it wasn't simply that I got a bad one. The seller would not issue a refund even though they approved the return and received the return package as documented by the return tracking number.
