The shell is beautiful it's a lot lighter than I expected but that's really okay because the amount of beauty that comes with the shell is phenomenal.However! For the money that you spent I honestly feel and believe it's worth it. It comes with a really sweet message letting you know that the shell has been handpicked and I love that! In the photo you see that my shell has sage in it.I use it as an incense burner and it's absolutely beautiful the colors really allow different elements to come into your home and it aerates beautifully!

The product is described as being 6 to 7 inches in size. It actually is much less. Mine was 5 inches in diameter. Ocean Shell Studios has great customer service and recognized the product description needs to be clearer. I’m returning the item because it is not as described and doesn’t work for my particular case, but the product is very nice, ships well, is packaged very nicely if you want to give it as a gift and the company is very responsive and attentive to customers. If you don’t mind a much smaller size, you’ll like this item.

I really love this shell, keep it on my nightstand to hold small crystals, flower blooms, and other things. It was larger than expected and a high quality piece. The stand came together easily, the package came on time and in good order (no damage at all), everything was wrapped well. The keychain was a thoughtful bonus and keeping it near me makes me feel connected to the sea. Would definitely buy from this seller again.

This is always an item that is intrinsically beautiful. It’s really amazing that something so real and really beautiful could cost so little. Whether you get a wooden stand or just the shell: it will stand out on any table or self. I use this for my rings. My wedding ring and my Rose Bowl rings. This pretty much shows how precious this Ocean Shell is to me. The many abalone knife handles that were my most precious knives as a kid helped me to find out how to find more of this natural art of the powerful Ocean below. I grew up in Texas and would make the long drive to California every Summer for our families vacation to Disneyland and other sites. I would get shells from Galveston Beach and California Shell Shops consistently. I am a full time artist and inventor since semi retirement after a life of many different jobs and careers and passion. But when you look at opals or mother of pearl or gemstones + the plants and creatures all around you can see why everyone is living within a work and world of color and art. This may be a little deep, for a shell review; but I have purchased this type of shell with and without stands so often. They are the gift that brings a much greater power than the price. And the practical form of this shell being similar to a bowl or a place to keep anything or nothing.

Beautiful piece! About the size of my hand. It could hold a small bundle of sage just right. It's also very easy on the eyes. The wooden holder is as expected, I'd be careful with it. However, the most important aspect of this purchase for me was the shell.

Just beautiful bought this shell for my wife to put her crystals in she was so happy to receive it the colors are beautiful in the shell and it holds all her crystals thank you excellent product.

I purchased this for smudging and the stand the shell and the quality are perfect. The shell stood up to heat and after using an oven mitt, the heat exchange to my hand was not a problem. Just be careful of dropping it by accident. The stand really seems to be for display only, but a very nice display at that.

I order the shell as I needed to cleanse my new home. The shell is beautiful, a generous size, and the kit even came with a small keychain. It arrived in a nice box that could easily be wrapped and gifted. The wood holder has a bit of a smell but I had to put it right up to my nose to notice it. I’m very happy with this purchase.
