I was skeptical but SUPER impressed
So I don’t typically compromise on lighting. I’ve installed numerous conventional 6” can lights throughout our home with relatively costly LED trim kits and generally been happy with the results. When I stumbled upon these and realized they were about half the cost of 6” cans with LED bulbs, I crossed my fingers and bought 30 of them for our basement.First off, these are well engineered lights. Someone put a lot of thought into this design. They are very easy to install with simple tools. You will need 1/2” knockout clamps and that’s about it, save the wire, switches, etc. Most impressively, these can be positioned anywhere on the ceiling regardless of where your joists are located, but only on new installs (before hanging drywall). I pre-installed the ballast boxes before hanging drywall. Regardless of where you want lights or the locations of my joists, the lights will fit given how the clamping mechanism works. An example of what may perceived to be a problematic joist location is included in the photo. However, this is a non-issue for new installs. But, you cannot do this for a retrofit as the ballast box is a bit larger than the opening provided for some joist locations. For retro-fits you definitely want to be clear of the joists.Regarding light output, I’m pleased but I’m not quite sure they put out the stated lumens. I have cans of the same rated capacity at a slightly greater spacing in another room and the overall luminescence appears to be the same. I went with a 4’ by 4’ spacing in the photo and am happy with the results. Better to have too much light and dimmer rather than not enough.I used a 4-1/8” hole saw and it is perfectly sized for the job. The lights come with an integral gasket which is great if there is an uninsulated space above, but this results in the lights sitting not quite flush with the ceiling. It’s not objectionable but I’m picky. Since this was a basement rehab, I removed the gasket and they sit tight and flush with the ceiling. It’s a very clean look. The Lutron dimmers recommended work flawlessly, not a hint of flickering and they dim down quite low.My only suggestion to the manufacturer is to provide either longer cable lengths between the ballast and light or provide an option to buy extension cables. For new installs, the light needs to be located within less than a foot from the ballast. This was not an option for me in some instances so I needed extension cables which were very difficult to come by. However, there were relatively inexpensive when I finally located them from another vendor. All in all these are absolutely worth every penny. You cannot go wrong with these lights provided you plan ahead on new installs. On retrofits there should work issue and they would be ideal for drop ceilings. checked all 30 lights when they arrived and all functioned without issue. I cannot speak to longevity as my lights have less than 40 hours on them. Provided their longevity is a good as this product design, I don’t expect to ever have to replace them.

Awesome Light & Easy to Install
I installed these in our kitchen & living room, and they look fantastic. I sold industrial and commercial lighting for several years, and I’ll admit that I was hesitant to use a brand that I’d never heard of; however I couldn’t be more pleased with how these turned out. They were very easy to install, and the lighting quality, uniformity, and output is exceptional. Being able to adjust the color temperature is a great feature as well. One suggestion I would have for others that buy this light is to pay attention to the cutout size. I purchased an adjustable bit to cut the holes in the ceiling, and I foolishly assumed the hole was 6” since this was a 6” can. The instructions & template clearly noted the cutout needs to be 6.1”. I was able to make it work even after cutting the 6” hole though.

Easy money
You can install these anywhere, even below a truss or joist. Low profile, easy install, clean look and color selection is key. I've used about a 100 of these. Easy money. Great product and seems to last.

Inexpensive and easy to install
Bought a box of 12 for a remodeling project we just completed. The lights were easy to install and didn't require a box inside the ceiling cavity. This really simplified the install for our contractor. The only concern I would point out it to ensure you select the light tone you want ahead of time. We adjusted ours toward a warmer light, but it wasn't as bright as the LED white default. Regardless, I really liked the warmer light tone and appreciated the ability to select.

Worth every penny! Works with Lutron dimmers.
The media could not be loaded. (Ensenior 12 Pack 4 Inch Ultra-Thin LED Recessed Ceiling Light with Junction Box, 9W 75W Eqv, Dimmable Can-Killer Downlight, 750LM High Brightness - ETL and Energy Star Certified / $95 at the time of ordering, $75 at the time of the review)Video shows 2 bedrooms side by side, each with different color temperatures. The bedroom on the left was set up with 3000K (slightly warmer tone). And the room on the right is at 4000K (cooler white). It also quickly shows reverse-drilling of the cutout with a hole saw.The first time I bought these, I was super skeptical. I needed a thin LED (didn’t want can lighting). And the price for these were too good to ignore. Similar versions (nearly identical) are being sold at big box stores but at a much higher price. So, I took a chance. And boy did these turn out to be one of the best options available. If you just need a quick review, get these and you won’t have any regrets. If you can put up with my lengthy review (apologies in advance!), then read on.To light our 2600 sq ft home, I ordered 5 sets of these (in 4” and 6” sizing). I was on the fence about what Kelvin temperature to get. 3000K ended up being really nice for the smaller bedrooms. And we went with 4000K for the larger bedroom, living room, kitchen and dining room. That was near perfect.Installation is very straightforward. You do need to run wiring to wherever you want to place a light in the ceiling. Once you know where the wiring will be, use a drywall knife or a hole saw to cut the ceiling open. There’s an included circular template in the box. Pro tip: If you’re using a hole saw, drill in reverse. This keeps the blades of the drill from shredding your drywall to pieces. Even a lower powered drill will be able to cut through in reverse without issue. And you’ll get a perfect hole without having to do any drywall repair. Then, do the following:1. Connect your 3 electrical wires to the corresponding wires in the included junction box and close the lid.2. Connect the single white cable from the junction box to the LED light.3. Bend the tabs on the LED light and pop it into the ceiling. The tabs will hold the light firmly in place.4. If you do drill a hole right below a joist (which you may eventually do), don’t worry at all. Because the light is so thin, you’re able to position it directly under the joist without issue.2nd pro tip. The LEDs come with a small foam ring which sits between the light and the ceiling. If you’e using the lights in damp environments like a bathroom, you should leave the foam ring on as it will keep any moisture from entering the ceiling. But if you’re using the lights in a dry environment (living room, bedroom, etc), remove the foam ring and the LED will sit even more flush to the ceiling. This can actually make a difference when mounting these lights near ceiling-high kitchen cabinets, allowing the doors to swing open without hitting the LED rim.The light output of these 4” lights is brighter than you might expect. Especially when using multiple LEDs in a single room. Space them about 3-4 feet apart from one another. For a 12x12 ft bedroom, 4 of these is plenty. Even in larger living rooms, multiple rows of these are going to give you more light than you need. With regard to the 6” version of this light, I would only use that diameter size if your ceiling is 10 ft or higher. Or, if you’re placing these outdoors (like under a patio). With regard to smart lighting, there haven’t been any issues using them with our Lutron switches and hub. For reference, we used the following throughout the home: Sunnata Touch (dumb), Maestro (dumb) and Caséta DIVA (smart) dimmers. No problems with flickering or buzzing sounds. Even when using the app and PICO remotes, lighting adjustment is smooth. Everything just worked.LEDs have come such a long way. I’ll never install another can light again. Whether you’re doing the install yourself, or hiring an electrician, you can’t go wrong with these. Good durable product. Excellent light output. Will definitely continue to buy these in the future.

Well packaged and decent build
They were packaged and built very well. The gasket provided is kinda lacking and got stuck to the protective coating but other than that they installed easy, they don’t flicker or do weird stuff and they make my room look great. Overall very happy with the price and value!

Love these LED pot lights
I love these things (12 pack 4Inch LED Recessed Slim Pot Light with Junction Box) 5 selectable color temperatures means you can select warm white to harsh white to match the room, dimmable and don't make any buzzing noise (but that might depend on your dimmer). So slim they install anywhere even if there is a joist right where you want to put one, these are getting installed all over the place in my house!! A couple of things that could make them even better -1. If the junction box was just an inch bigger it would make installation so much easier.2. Make sure the wire is properly seated in the wire splice block before cramming it into the box coz the wires can pop out - even better replace them with Wago lever locks which is what I did.3. Why don't they chuck in some 1/2 inch plastic romex cable connectors? - for a couple of cents each it would just be a nice touch.4. Buy extras / spares - they're cheap so grab a few spares for if/when some fail in case you can't get them anymore in the future.5. Get a good hole cutter and you won't regret it, I got the Milwaukee adjustable hole saw (C$35) and it's worked really well so far (about 40 nice clean holes).6. Don't skimp on the number you plan to install, with 8ft ceilings if you don't install enough you can end up with dark spots in your room, but this is the same with any pot lights so read up about standard spacing for pot light installations.7. Buy a good dimmer if you want to dim them, if you get a cheap crap dimmer switch you will regret it.Most of my comments above are just tips / advice and not criticizing the product itself, becuase these LED pot lights are fantastic.

Nice bright Light / 5 colors great price
A few things I like about this light.* 5 white colors to choose from during the installation to fit the ambiance of any room.* The springs holding the light to the ceiling are nice and tight.* Can dim the light to a very low level without flickering.* Nice bright 1050 lumens light.Be sure to choose the size you like, 6" or 4". I went with these 6" because I didn't need as many lights and easier to get your hand into the ceiling and even a drill if need be.I do find the 4" light a bit more subtle as far as décor goes.I rated these easy to install, however, if you are replacing an existing light you still need to remove the hex box under the existing light and be comfortable working with household wiring. Some existing hex boxes are more than a simple wire or two, The box that comes with the light can reasonably accept two 14/2 (maybe 14/3) wires. If you are unsure of what you are doing hire an electrician.
