New Zowie Fan!
Before buying the EC2, I was strictly a razer/glorious only user (deathadder, viper, model o/d) but i decided to try this plain looking zowie out due to a friend's suggestion. This mouse went above my expectations and i honestly feel like i play better (fps games) and no tiring out from playing mobas etc.. The comfort is solid (kinda similar to the deathadder) has a solid weight to it and its got some big ol feet for some smooth gliding.. The clicks feel very clicky and responsive which i likey. The only few cons that i found were the scroll button is pure garbage but it's not a problem for me, the mouse is VERY smooth so it may be hard to keep a solid grip on it (get some grip tape), and the last con would be the cord is hideous.. But the pros definitely outweigh the cons so definitely would purchase again. Actually thinking about purchasing the S2 just to have an ambidex mouse rdy to go..!! BUY BUY BUY!

One of the easiest mice to use right out of the box.
I've been using the mouse for nearly a month now and I can't go back to my original cheap mouse I was using prior. This mouse was a breeze to use. If you really don't want to deal with external software as much as I do. This is probably one of the best mice. It worked perfectly with no problems and felt extremely satisfying with the dpi switch. My old mouse was around 800-1000 dpi, I ended up trying 1600 dpi with this one and it was perfect. I was able to play my favorite games a bit better. I also finally had side mouse buttons as my previous ones didn't have any. It made things s a bit easier as I could use one of them for discord. The only thing I could wish for is a white version of this mouse so it would math better with my keyboard.

The perfect mouse for most people
Its a simple design, and its hugely effective. No RGB nonsense, no bloated software to adjust dpi and profiles. You have two switches on the bottom of the mouse, and when you plug it in everything works. Its clearly made to be durable, so its a bit snappy and stiff at first, but it wears in and is very comfortable. The liftoff distance and feel of the pads is ideal for gaming, and so far I haven't had a single issue in any game with this mouse. I honestly don't understand why someone would buy anything else.

The Zowie EC2, Ergonomic design excellence.
I owned the Zowie FK2 for 6 years as my main ambidextrous mouse, I decided to try different ergo mice to see what was up with ergo mice. I have small hands and do fingertip / claw grip. The Zowie EC2 is definitely quality, the mouse has a good solid feeling to it, the materials feel good on the hand and the design follows the natural pattern of how the hand should be placed. The side buttons are good, not the best placement or feel but they are above par for most. The scroll wheel feels crisp and the mouse has kept well for the time I have had it. The only criticism I have would be the cable, it feels sturdy, heavy and really removes from the feel of moving the mouse.Overall a really good mouse, recommend.

Excellent mouse
This is a real quality mouse. I been PC gaming for 15+ years and owned a dozen different mouses from 3 big named brand companies. This mouse is flawless. No rubber glued side pads for your fingers that fall off eventually. No bloated software needs to be installed to control DPI, Polling rates. The clicks are tactical on all buttons. I am genuine when I say, I will always order Zowie peripherals from now on. They also package replacement pads for the bottom of the mouse. If a few years go by, you can apply new ones.

Good for some games
I had a Corsair mouse that changed DPI on its own. Very annoying when playing a game. The mouse its self was very comfortable and had a sniper button, but the DPI changing drove me nuts. So I got this mouse for the software built in. So far the mouse works for what I got it for, but falls short in other areas.Pros:Good shape for ergonomics, good sensor, DPI is changed on the bottom in built in software.Cons: All buttons on the mouse feel cheap. The best 2 are the right and left click, but not any better than a 10 dollar mouse. The roller and 2 side buttons feel the same or worse than a 10 dollar mouse. A Logitech mouse wheel is smoother than this one. This mouse does its basic purpose well in that it moves very smooth at a set DPI. It allows me to get into a game. Just wish the strengths of this mouse could be put into a better built mouse.Update: I changed the stars from 3 to 5. After using the mouse more, I grew to like it more. Surprised how well it worked in first person shooter games.

Feels cheap
I am a claw grip user coming from the Microsoft Intellimouse Pro.Pros:The mouse is of typical weight which aids in stability/camping an area. The shape is goodIt looks professional. No LEDs, yay!Cons:- Side buttons have too much travel. The front one actually kinds of descends into the body of the mouse when fully depressed.- Left click sounds and feels different than the right click. I think this has something to do with the buttons being part of the mouse body. I prefer the mouse to have segmented buttons for repairability and to prevent unwanted clicks due to palm pressure- Scroll wheel feels cheap. Whatever the mechanism is used to register steps has loose clearances. It's that kind of scroll wheel I'd bet $50 won't work in 6 months. The steps are too far apart. Sure, it's good for switching weapons but for browsing any sort of content it takes a ton of strides. Yes, it's that kind of scroll wheel where you need 2 fingers for that extra scrolling speed. The middle click requires too much pressure and also feels like it wont work in 6 months.- Cable... It's your run of the mill rubber heavy cable. Excellent length though.I LOVE LOVE LOVE Zowie's monitors but their peripherals are not for me.

Would buy again
I love this mouse for gaming because you do NOT need a program to set the DPI you do it on the bottom of the mouse and I use it set at 400 DPI for gaming A++++ set it and forget it and no software needed to set it
