Hair Dryer Heat Shield

Love that this protects my ears, forehead, and neck from the dryer heat. Makes sitting under it bearable.

Where has this been all my life! My mom is a hair dresser so I grew up getting my hair roller set and having to sit under the dryer. As someone who gets hot easily that was always the worst! Now that I set my own hair and have my own dryer at home, I found I would have to strip down and turn the a/c up to be able to stand sitting under the dryer. Even then I would sweat like crazy, need to take little breaks, and I swear I almost past out last month!I saw this on Amazon and tried it for the first time last week...and this made all the difference! I sat under the dryer with the heat on high for a solid hour and fifteen minutes and it felt like nothing! That was the first time that time flew by so fast under the dryer. I immediately told the women in my family about it and ordered one for my Aunt. This is a game changer! Get it!Tip: put the velcro part in the front for a stiffer hold (if you want to watch tv). The instructions say that and it works.

This is a must buy for anyone who has to endure frequent & long bonnet dryer times. I do my own roller wraps at home. For my hair length I need at least 1.5 hrs (most times closer to 2 hours) to get the rollers completely dry. It's TORTURE to sit under there that long. This shield makes it not only bearable but comfortable enough to multitask while I'm under there (as opposed to being so consumed by the discomfort that I can't think of anything else).In my experience, it's easy to put on (velcro closure in the back) and stays on pretty well (I never have to readjust). There are even extra padding to protect the ears. Overall it's a pretty good inexpensive solution to a hair grooming problem.

Makes drying time so much comfortable. It protects well from heat, specially your ears and all over your head frankly. It is a bit tight and a pricey, however, it is worth it since it makes a difference when sitting under a hooded dryer.

Air from hairdryer was hurting my mom’s eyes so I purchased this for her to take to the hairdressers. Everyone thought it was terrific. It kept the heat away from her eyes, fit well and overall we’re pretty happy with it.

This has been very helpful, keeps all the heat off of my ears and neck. My only complaint is that the front falls down over my eyes and I cannot read or work on the computer while under the dryer. This makes the time go slower. I am trying to figure out a way of keeping it off my eyes. However, I am still grateful that my skin is not burning.
