Best apple butter by far. I have eaten this since I was a kid . Was thrilled when I realized I could get it on line- since I no longer live in the area where it is made. It triggers my memories of the wonderful smell of it it cooking in a huge caldron during October fest🍁… A must !!! If you like apple butter.

Tastes amazing! Too expensive
I love apple butter. My mother in law makes apple butter and it's by far the best I have had. So trying to find one in a store to compare is very hard! I bought Musselman's apple butter at first on here and I did not care for it because it wasn't sweet enough for me and too many spices. But this apple butter is the best I could find; it's definitely on the sweeter side, which I love, but if you don't like that much sweetness this may not be the one for you. This apple butter tastes fresh and you can tell there aren't a bunch of additives. The downside is that it is SUPER expensive! I would 100% continue to buy this if it were a few dollars cheaper; 19 oz is a decent amount but over $12 is too much to spend on apple butter.

Quite good
This apple butter is almost as good as homemade. It’s a little sweeter than I like but the flavor is not overloaded with spices. I don’t know the the apple used because they only tell us that it contains “apples”. Of all the apple butter that Amazon offers this is the best for my taste.

excellent taste.
i have been eating apple butter since we lived on the farm in missouri in the early 1940s. my mother made home made apple butter.when we moved to Maryland I started buying this apple butter when I lived in Hagerstown , Maryland in 1977. their was a country store in funkstown, md that stocked this item. since then, we have moved 8 times since our time in Maryland. I have always ordered this specific apple butter in every new locations we have lived in. cannot have breakfast unless you have apple butter. was very surprised to see it on amazon. great item to their food offering.
