A Song of Fire and Ice Sandor Clegane Exclusive Bust

As a fan of both the books and the shows, I had trouble deciding between this particular bust, or the one by Dark Horse, which portrays the actor Rory McCann's likeness in armor modeled after the show's version. I eventually opted for this one: not only is it cheaper (or was at the time of my purchase, $90 shipped vs. $123 shipped) but I think the posing here just suits The Hound perfectly. The show-accurate bust is simply an idle position of the shoulders up, where here you have a blood-splattered, battle-ready Hound charging in, grasping at his sword. The house sigil is a very nice touch. I also prefer this version to the similar bust where he lacks his helm, just because I think his helmet is a very key piece of the character. Thus, this is the best Hound around that I could find.The bust itself is beautiful, and has a very nice weight to it. The chain running beneath the plates of armor is detailed, and you can feel the rough woven texture of it. His armor actually looks scuffed and battle-worn, and the blood splatters smattered across him are very well done across his right side, not just haphazardly placed. You can peek inside the helm (which is not mobile like the Dark Horse one apparently is) and see not only his ice blue eyes, but some of the horrific scarring along the side of his face.Overall I'm incredibly pleased with this bust. The Hound is definitely my favorite character of the series, and I love having this intense fellow guarding my nightstand while I sleep. :)
