Well, it's been acouple of days now that I used it. I like the camera is easy to use and you can set it up to your liking using the setup menu. The manual is no easy task reading on it of course I had to mess with it to figured it out myself. During the day the picture is good but on night is not so. I don't thing is what you pay for it what makes the dash camera bring crispy view video is just that technology hasn't come to that point yet. There is an article I read that the camera feature the G-sensor and Motion is useless. For the G-sensor if there were pothole on the road it will trigger the camera to save the video and the next thing you know you'll have so many save files that would fill your memory card. The Motion, if you don't have the power wired to your battery than it would use the camera battery in which it doesn't last very long. And if you do have it wired to your car battery than it would drain your battery life. Also for the Motion feature if your car was hit with an object by the time your camera wakes up the fugitive would have gotten away and you're camera did not catch the suspect. If your camera is on and in video mode and you get into an accident just click on the mode button from your camera and your file is save or else just turn it off right after the accident the file will be save. Over all, even though the video playback is alittle grainy you still get a good video to where you can read the plate number of the vehicle and road signs. I like mine dash camera and I do recommend it for everyone to get one.

It's hard to complain for $50Video quality is OK and the camera is intuitive enough to use without looking at the skimpy instructions.. In fact, the instructions are so skimpy I said "this is worthless, just figure it out".. which is fine if you are an electronics geek.The camera is VERY small and unobtrusive and could easily fit in front of your rear view mirror to keep it out of your line of sight.If you are looking for crystal clear 1080P video, keep looking. If you are looking for a very low cost dash cam that will get the job done, this is the one for you.

I have been working with this for three days and I am well satisfied with the results that I am now getting. I found that, during the day, the 1080p is excellent for my purposes. Some licenses come in from the forward position, some don't do so well from the peripheral view. Over head signs come in clear enough. There is no night vision support, only what the head lights can capture. I found the night scenes very blurry with regards to overhead street lights and leading car's tail lights. A small trade off considering the price. Audio is surprisingly good. I am still tweeking this unit and will use 720 p for night views I suspect.Pros: Small and inconspicuous to the driver. 32 GB memory. All options appear to be working correctly. excellent price for what you are getting. Options are adjustable to owners wants Window mount is very good Extra long power cord to the car lighter. Software updates are available online.Cons; Night time viewing is somewhat lack lustered and blurry. Try 720 p to adjust Directions booklet that comes with the unit lacks important details. It should be more explicit. Manual assumes the owner knows things that they may not. Had difficulty getting the Micro SD card to seat in the unit. Removing is not a quick process either. Can not guarantee that the G function will work, as I have not had an accident to validate it. Probably not American Made. Unit has failed as a web cam. Windows 10 did not detect. Unit has not yet worked as a web cam for me. (Perhaps I need to learn more than what the manual is not supplying to make this work. Rules for the road that I have found. Make sure that your Micro SD Card is formatted. Take time to get to know the unit. The directions are not so forward and should be rewritten. Software updates are down loaded to the SD card manually. Insure that you remove the plastic covering off the lens and the two pieces on the led screen. There is a Green tab as one of these in the upper right corner of the LED screen. Make sure they all come off cleanly. Optics, Gforce, record resolution, length of video groups are all adjustable. Many more options are available within the operational code of the device. Now that I have it working properly, I am very delighted. There is a reset pin hole opposite the mic connection. No need for a mic that I need. Insure that you use a blunt end of a needle to reset the device. Charge the battery first before working with the unit. Format chip second. Reset the device before making adjustments. Day time viewing was excellent. Night time viewing needs some work. All in all, I gave this a five star rating based on the options and the mostly the cost. I normally overlook cost for quality, but I think this unit is well worth it. Be gentle with the unit handling it. It is very lightweight, and I think one good hard fall could break it.

This unit worked reasonably well for several months, then I began to have problems with blown fuses. We have 2 power sources in our car. The main source fuse blew out twice while the camera was plugged in there. So, I tried the camera in the secondary power source to see if the main source was weak or had other problems. Within a few days the fuse blew on the secondary power source. We have never had any fuse problems in the 2+ years we have owned our car. We have used the power source frequently for our handheld GPS unit with no problems.I did have some problems reading the manual, but eventually figured out how to make the unit function. A couple of times the unit stopped recording new video. Most of the time it seemed to loop and erase/overwrite older video, but a couple of times I discovered that it was not recording. When I connected the unit to a computer and deleted the files, the recording began again.For these reasons I discarded this unit and purchased another brand, which we are currently trying out.
