Kracie Popin' Cookin' DIY Candy Hamburger Kit

I bought this as a gift for my 11-year-old daughter and one of her friends (also 11, a boy), and they absolutely loved making it together! The instructions were clear and simple—they were able to complete the whole project on their own with no adult help, which made them feel really proud and independent. The finished product actually looked like the picture on the box, which doesn’t always happen with kits like this! It turned out super cute and was a fun activity for both of them to enjoy. They didn’t totally love the taste of it—LOL—but that’s to be expected with treat kits like this. Everyone has different tastes, and honestly, the fun was more in the making than the eating. It’s the perfect mix of a craft and a treat, and a great little activity for kids around this age. Highly recommend as a creative gift idea!

burger tastes fine but those fries ohmygod w the ketchup it tastes like pineapple flavored lean or something, it’s pretty easy to make especially w like little ones, and also the coke tastes very artificial lol ‼️🔥😜👍🏽

These are fun. Good activity to do with your children. My kids are 6&8 and need help with the instructions. But we love to do them once in a while.

My kids loved playing this candy experience. The thing they loved the most was the soda. Some of the flavors of the burger didn't combine well and the fries are banana flavor I believe with strawberry sauce ketchup.

This was fun to do with my 5 and 7 year old. Add a tiny little extra water for the buns. We added maybe a quarter cup more and it was perfect. The burger, fries and ketchup were best tasting. The burger is a chocolate flavor, while most everything else is like different flavors of pixie sticks. The ketchup is strawberry, and I think the cheese may have been a light orange or citrus. The soda was gross. Tasted like straight salt water. Overall. It was fun and easy.

This Popin’ Cookin’ kit is a fun, hands-on candy activity. The instructions are easy to follow and everything you need is included. The real enjoyment is in making it — the finished candy is cute and sweet, even if it’s more about fun than flavor. Great for a quick activity or something different from regular candy. Would buy again.

I made one of these years ago where you had to microwave the fries, burger, and buns. I remember it tasting okay, nothing spectacular but not gross either. This newer recipe "sets up on its own" and it is so so gross. The fries were okay but super crumbly. None of the water ratios seemed correct and I've made a lot of these kits. The burger was way too soft even after 10 mins and it was still like a soft pudding under the top half. The bun set up okay but it tasted disgusting. Horrible gritty texture and tasted like medicine. The soda was also horrible and I don't even understand how they messed that up since their soda and cola flavors are usually the best in the kits. I don't recommend anyone who likes eating actual food or candy to get this kit. Go for the bento or sushi kits. Gummy land is also a good one. Anything with frosting is fine but super sweet so only get them if you want very sweet artificial flavored icing. Just don't get this one. Total waste. I hope they change the recipe back.
