We have decided to update our farmhouse with all new exterior lighting. After reading many reviews for this light and others similar brands, we choose to go with Black. The first two arrived well packaged, no scratches and I had them installed in no time. The hardest part was getting the old lights removed (one had an old birds nest that had to be cleaned up) before the these could be installed.We love the way the light is broadcasted down and against the walls. It makes the house and front porch look clean, elegant and inviting for guests.The assembly of the lower lamp shade and the upper support is super easy. The instructions are generic, but again, the installation is standard and easy. I found it easiest to remove all of the old mounting hardware and connect the included mounting bracket directly to the junction box, then connected the hot, neutral and ground. Put on the rubber washers, screw on the two nuts and you'll have an amazing, brand new look wherever you install these Barn Wall Sconces. We are also making the farm as automated as possible, so we are installing Wiz WiFi lights to be able to change colors, automatically turn on the lights in the evening and then dim the lights at bedtime. Some of the other light fixtures we have didn't provide enough weather protection for WiFi lights and the rain affected their performance. With these sconce style lights, there's plenty of cover to keep them dry and bright on stormy nights.We can't wait to install the other 15 lights that are on the way.

I bought this for over my kitchen sink. So fun! It’s the perfect size, great lighting and love the color! Not your average, boring kitchen light for sure!! This would be great in the bathroom or over the front door as well!
