Beware of Incorrect Size Options
Cute hat but my son never used it because I was sent the wrong size TWICE. My issue is the size options listed. From the way the sizes are listed you would think that the size S is the next size up from the 2-3T in the sequence. Not true. I wanted the next larger size so I ordered a S expecting a 4-6T size. Instead I was sent 0-6 months which was listed as S on the packaging for the hat but not in the Amazon listing. I thought I was sent the wrong size by mistake so I returned the hat and noted that I did not order 0-6 months and that I wanted a size S still thinking that was a 4-6T. I got the replacement hat and again it was 0-6 months. This time I called Customer Service and after a lengthy phone call the rep realized the sizing is incorrect on the listing. The S is actually 0-6mos., the M is actually 6-18 mos., 2-3T is actually the L and I believe 4-6T is probably the XL and so on. I should have ordered XL because I wanted the 4-6T and not an S which Amazon calls 0-6 months. Got it??

Favorite baby hat
My kid is two, and we spend a lot of time outdoors, so we’ve been through a lot of bucket hats. The City Threads one is my favorite. It’s very sturdy, not thin and wimpy like some other bucket hats. Be aware that the color called “Road” looks grey on Amazon, but it has undertones of blue and green so it’s really a very faded aqua. It’s quite nice. Incidentally City Threads sells my favorite cotton masks as well. It’s a decent brand for quality fiber.

Fine
Nothing fancy, more like a regular hat, not really much of a celebrity thing.

runs big
i bought this for my 9 month old and its big - pretty big, but he can still wear it when we go on walks in the stroller. he will grow into it, but be advised, runs large even after washing (doesnt shrink). also, the grey has a 'green' tint almost but it still works. quality is good and picture is exactly what youll get.

Avoid white in newborn size
Great, sturdy hat. I really like the second one I ordered (pink). I ordered a white one at first and the size is way off. The tag still says 0 to 6 months but it is so large! I ordered a second one after reading a review about the white being bug and sure enough the pink one was more appropriately sized for a newborn. So beware ordering the white newborn size. Also, as other reviews say they claim it is made in the USA and even says so on the big card I got, but the tag clearly states made in China if that is important to you. (Card is in pictures for size comparison)

Ok
This is a nice hat, but it is heavy duty. It is really thick and so wearing during really hot weather leads to toddler's head sweating.

"Road" color isn't true gray
Bought this in the "Road" color for our 2-year old in the size Large (2T-3T). Fits great (aka the brim isn't enormous like some bucket hats), keeps the sun out of his eyes. Could be improved by adding a chin strap, but I knew that it didn't come with one, so it's not a big deal.I was expecting "Road" to be a neutral gray but it has a decided undertone of green, so it's an odd shade of gray-green (like a very faded army green). At first I wondered if they sent me the wrong color hat, but the Olive green depicted looks too dark/saturated compared to what we received, so who knows? We went ahead and kept it anyways since we were going to be at the zoo that weekend and needed a hat, but I would have preferred an actual gray instead of the light gray-green we received.

Runs big!
This is a nice hat but large! My 3yo has a pretty average head, maybe even slightly larger than average. I wanted him to wear the hat for a few summers, so I got him the 4-6 size. It fits my husband! Too big for a 3yo and falls over his face. Got the 2-3 size and it’s still a little large but more reasonable, so he will wear that one. Short story: size down.
