Great size and weight
I love my new glass pitcher for making my ice tea. I put a bunch of ice cubes in with the hot tea to dilute the strength of the tea (my preference). It does drip a bit from the spout if I pour too fast, but it is fine for me. It has heft, but it is not so heavy that it strains my hand. I love it. Easy to handle, wash and dry.

Fine Quality Pitcher and Lid
I am very pleased with the quality of the Bormioli Rocco Jug. The glass is substantial and reminds me of the quality of the old glass milk bottles that used to be delivered to homes by truck in the first half of the 20th century. (Okay, I know I'm dating myself here.) I have a couple of Quadro jugs which are much thinner glass, and I have much more confidence that the Bormioli jugs will stand up better to regular usage. The handle is, by design, close to the body of the jug. I have a small hand and this is no problem for me. Conceivably someone with very thick fingers might not appreciate the design. As mentioned by another reviewer, there is no reason to believe it is tempered glass, so I intend to cool hot liquids somewhat before I store them in this container. As also mentioned by another reviewer, the lid would probably not form a perfectly airtight seal; although, the lid is well made from a sturdy plastic and fits the jug snugly. For most purposes this lid should be more than adequate unless you are regularly storing beverages such as milk in a refrigerator with pungent-smelling foods. In the latter case, I would look into one of Bormioli's jugs with the hermetic seal top. The Bormioli jug and its lid are well made from quality materials.

How to avoid the drips + comparison with hermetic version and 68 oz version
This is a very nice, thick glass pitcher that feels very solid. Several reviewers mention dribbling / dripping. The trick is to a) take the lid all the way off before pouring and b) fill up to only an inch or two from the top rather that filling it completely full. I purchased three different Bormioli Rocco items at the same time; this one, the "Bormioli Rocco Frigoverre Jug with Hermetic Lid, 1 Liter" and the "Bormioli Rocco Frigoverre Glass Pitcher with Lid, 68 Ounce". Hereโs some comparisons that might help others. In comparison with the Bormioli Rocco Frigoverre Jug with Hermetic Lid, 1 Liter The lids are where the differences lie - this one pops on and off very easily and twists to create a gap. (but, per above, I suggest you remove it rather than twist because the opening is not large enough for it to pour properly, so you get a mess if you use it.) The hermetic lid has to be removed completely to pour at all. To seal it, you place the lid on top, then twist the middle portion within the top of the lid to seal it. That lid does provide a very nice tight seal. This one is easier & quicker to use. That one is preferred where a strong seal is wanted. I like this one for water or juice, the other for left-over home-made hot cocoa. For some liquids, I will note you can get build-up on the lip that can dry outside the seal, so you might want to get a damp clean paper towel to give it a quick swipe before putting it away to avoid, er, gunk.) I'm not sure why this is listed as 41 oz and the 1 Liter Hermetic claims 39 oz because the glass portion appear to be identical in size and shape. The spouts are identical. The only difference is this glass has raised decorative lines and the other does not. In comparison with the 68 oz Bormioli Rocco Frigoverre Pitcher The 68 oz version is roughly two inches shorter than this pitcher. It is also about two inches larger width & breadth. The opening at the top is about an inch wider. This one has the same style hermetic lid as the other one, just with a larger diameter. Like the others, the glass feels thick and solid. Because it is so stout the center of gravity is low and if you were to push it at the very top, it would be more likely to slide than to fall over. The 68 oz is a better choice if you have less height in your shelf but the tradeoff is for crowded shelves it has a wider footprint. I'd rather have two of the taller 1-liter sizes on my top shelf because I get more height for about the same footprint and I can arrange that same footprint more flexiblly. While I havenโt done it, you could use this to store thicker liquids or even something like a chunky soup because the opening is wide enough for a serving spoon or a hand. (But as other reviewers have noted, you wouldnโt want to introduce large temperature differences as it isnโt tempered glass.) When full, this tends to be heavy enough you really need both hands to use it comfortably.

Nice Pitcher
This is exactly what I wanted to make a couple of big cups l, about 32 oz, of cold brew. The pitcher is glass that can take both hot and cold temperatures. The top is plastic but serves its purpose. It is easy to clean, the glass can go in the dishwasher. Plus it doesnโt take up a lot of space in my fridge. I use it regularly.

Use it all the time!
I love this! It will drip if you leave the top on but I never do. It's just a habit to take it off and pour. I find it more difficult to slide it to where it will pour then to take it off and pour. I love it for my Hibiscus tea I bought on here also! I use a pitcher I bought on here to brew my tea then pour it in here to made more in my pot. It fits great in the fridge without taking up room and it works well in door!! That's why I bought it. It's heavy glass and good quality!! Very happy!

Sturdy Jug with Handle for Pouring Ease
This jug is the size I wanted to keep milk regridgerated. I did read the reviews on the jug and took note of one customer complaint that the lid was not spill proof. I made the purchase (in spite of the spilage factor), so I really cannot complain that that the lid is not tight - and on the first use I had milk on my counter top! Nevertheless, I am happy with the purchase. The jug fits nicely in my fridge, and the handle makes it easy to carry and to pour the contents from.

POINTLESS.
DRIPS LIKE CRAZYYYY! I bought this because I am trying to get away from using plastics in food containers. This seemed like a great jug for the price. I got it in the mail and it's much smaller than I expected. My fault for not realizing it's just 1.25 quarts. The big complaint is that even when you spin the lid into the pour position it drips like crazy. Even with the lid off it runs down the side after you are done pouring. And the lid itself doesn't keep the liquid from spilling out if its full and you're moving it around in the fridge. There is no seal to it what so ever. Most worthless lid I've seen. The only reason I didn't give this less than 1 star (which isnt possible on here) is because I like the rectangular shape and handle. Other then that it's worthless.

Cheap, functional, but poor spout/cover design
It's a nice functional, glass jug. It's slender so fits well into the door panels of my fridge. My problems with this jug is that the lid and spout design are not good. You can slide the top plastic lid to sort of close off, or create a spot to pour water. But it almost always dribbles the water and drips everywhere. I find I have to take the lid off completely to be able to pour anything. Other than that, glad I got it, but probably will get a different one next time.

As described
I love this glass jug however the lids not spill proof not that it claims it is it would just be a nice feature. The other thing is that there is a hard to reach spot in the handle difficult to clean because itโs a small dip in the glass

Very nice little jug.
It's very light and easy to hold and pour. I use it to refill my Keurig, it's the perfect size. It also looks really nice and was a good price.

Drips when pouring
This pitcher is attractive, sturdy, and fits nicely in the fridge. However, the spout is not designed very well; When pouring, it drips and makes a mess.
