Motion in the Ocean

I agree with the 1st reviewer that McFly have suddenly gone Queen on a lot of tracks. I do hear many influences of pop-rock, plus the usual 60's beach boys type of influence, which I happen to like. At first listen, I was slightly disappointed in some tracks. But after several listens, more and more of the songs got stuck in my head. I started liking each song more and more. I love "Transylvania" best, it's really different! I think McFly are VERY talented at songwriting, singing and performing. Being as I am an adult and therefore been listening to music for longer than some McFly fans, I do hear more influences rather than pure originality. Yet somehow they manage to take familiar sounds and add enough complexities to impress. Bottom line is: These songs are catchy, and I love their singing/harmony style. I also love the variety in style. Yes, there's some pop, some rock, some oldies, they used to throw in a little punk on previous CD's. Variety is the spice of life! I hope McFly stays around for awhile because they are refreshing to me, one of the 1st bands I've really taken to in YEARS!!! Good job, guys, keep it up. :)

I have been wanting a McFly CD (other than Just My Luck's soundtrack) for years! I found this as a "other sellers" deal and purchased, hoping it would be a good deal -- and it was! I received it in perfect condition, with the plastic wrapping still on it!The sound is great (duh!) and the CD works perfect.

I'm excited that I've found a new band to love. I can't wait to purchase their other albums. I know they've been around for awhile but for some reason I've only just found out about them.

I don't like this album as much as others of his but I thought it was worth a try nice voice but some of the songs aren't too good

This is my favorite McFly CD and I'd been looking for it in many places, but I just found it here in Amazon. Well, I think it was totally worth it - I love it!

The songs inside this CD is not complete. Where is "Don't Stop Me Now"??The music is not as good as Radio:Active, my favorite album from them.Average overall.

This is my absolute favorite McFly album. The package came exactly as I imagined, the songs are great, and I was surprised to find an additional song that wasn't listed! Great album and a great buy!

Having featured some of McFly most well known songs (Transylvania and Star Girl for example) It's is a shock to me that most people I speak to have never heard of this one. Mind you I hadn't when I first got back into McFly. Either way I strongly would say that anyone who likes McFly or this type of music should check it out. There's quite a lot of good songs on here and a HUGE step up to Wonderland which (in my opinion) was a bit of a disappointment due to only having 4 memorable songs on it!
