most useful and secure.
I am in the habit of hanging my clothes for the next day on hooks on the back of my bedroom door. This keeps them out of the way, relatively clean, and handy when I need them. In my last apartment, I installed screwed on closet hooks. Unfortunately, the plywood of the door was too thin to hold the hooks securely. Even using drywall screws, after about a year, the hooks were wobbly and insecure. They lasted for almost twenty years, but each time I hung an article of clothing, I felt like the hook would fall off at any moment. When I moved into my present apartment, I found no hooks, neither on the door, nor the wall, nor in the closet. So, I went online searching for a device to hang my clothes on. These looked like the least expensive and useful. I liked that they weren't permanent, so, if I ever moved again, I could simply lift them off and take them with me. They looked sturdy enough to hold a single garment each, so I ordered two packs in order to have enough. My bedroom door is about 32 inches wide, so starting 6 inches from each side, that meant that a single six pack gave me a hook about every four inches. More than plenty. Then last week, I had to go to the neighborhood store and it was raining, so I wore my poncho and a wide brim hat. The rain got worse, so when I got back my hat and poncho were dripping water like crazy, so I quickly grabbed my spare packet of hooks and installed two of them on my entrance door. I then left my hat and poncho hanging to drip dry. They are still hanging there, ready to grab when I need them. These hooks are very handy, they need no screwing or nailing to install, and are just as easy to move about to where they are needed. I recommend keeping a supply of them in every house or apartment.

Not very long. Probably need end caps.
These are very sturdy. Solid metal, presumably steel. The narrower end fits snugly on standard doors. Some of my doors are slightly too thick. From trial and error, I think it's the doors and not the hooks. The hooks seem to be uniform. I bought "uxcell 20pcs Rubber End Caps 1/4"(6mm) ID Vinyl Round End Cap Cover Screw Thread Protectors Black" (on Amazon) to use as protective caps. They fit well. I've used the hooks as-is and not had problems with clothes or towel snagging or ripping, but the metal edges are not rounded and I felt more comfortable using these hooks with the rubber end caps. I deducted one star for the non-rounded/non-beveled edges. Also, note that these are pretty short hooks, so if you have tall doors, you're going to be reaching up pretty high.

Work great on thick doors
The doors in my new house are thicker than average, 1-3/4". These are the only over the door hooks I have found that fit. They slip on and off easily and I can move them around as needed. Either multiple on one door, move from the front to the back of the door, or to a different room as needed. I tend to use them for clothes on hangers, like in the laundry room or when pre-packing for a trip.

Great but I upgraded improved it with a 1 inch ball so clothes don't snag and tear
Great but I upgraded improved it with a 1 inch ball so clothes don't snag and tearSee my picture, and used these bought at AmazonWood Dowel Caps 1 inch Diameter with 3/8 inch Hole, Pack of 12 Unfinished Dowel Rod Caps for 3/8 inch Dowel Rods, For Crafts and DIYers, by WoodpeckersThese are a snug tight fit, no glue needed. The width of the metal door hanger is 3/8 inch.Center the wood ball onto the 3/8 inch, and than tap in firmly with a smaller hammer. Need to start slow, to get the rounded metal end to start in, and than tap in firmly. Using a clear piece of plastic packing over the wood ball, let's you see the alignment, also prevents you leaving hammer marks on the wood, but use the feel, but once the metal starts to enter, than you can tap it in hard.I used three per door, and has a nice tasteful Danish Modern look.

Seems like a good idea but still inferior to regular hooks
Manufacturing is solid. The description is correct and sizes are as specified in the description. The problems are these:1. Scuffs up the surface just above the door.2. Loose fit. Unless your door thickness is exactly one of the two thicknesses of this double-sided hook, you will notice some wobble. This wobble would make you feel less confident to heavier items on this hook.3. Door may not fully close at all or may need a lot of force to close. It was a good experiment. There are some benefits. For example, you can move them off from one door to another without having to deal with any adhesives. But, I will go back to regular hooks.

Stronger than they look.
I got these to hang a somewhat elaborate storage system made of MOLLE pouches. The thing is pretty heavy, and I used 5 of the hooks to hang it. Despite the weight hanging from near the end of the long hooks, they’re not bending or sagging at all. Safe to say these will last for a while. The included pads do help the hooks stay in place a bit, but they could be better. Good value overall.
