Michael Connelly CD Collection 1: The Black Echo, The Black Ice (Harry Bosch Series)

I got hook on Connelly's Harry Bosch character and have now finished the first three of the series. If you are in law enforcement or previously served, you will love the character and how Connelly captured the internal politics of a major law enforcement agency.

MC is quite clever in his story telling - have seen more than my share of 'cookie cutter' plots or those with 'gotcha' endings that don't make any sense. Connelly writes a bit too much 'detail' - so the abridged versions are best for me. Really like his style and how he pulls all the pieces together. Wish I could write like that!

only problem was "Black Ice was abridged poorly so that follow the story was very difficult.Black Echo was fine.

This is not unabridged like I thought! CD's arrived in like new condition. I would not have purchased them if I knew it was the abridged version.

Easy read....I have to admit I like the Jack Reacher character better than Harry Bosch, but Lee Child's last couple of books have been stinkers. I am now on my 5th novel by Michael Connelly and I am enjoying the series.

These play perfectly in my car and on my computer. I cannot get them to play in my Galaxy note 4 at all. The stories are well read by Dick Hill, who read the Jack Reacher series in the States. It's a very enjoyable set. As long as you can either find a way to make them play on your phone or at least know that, I highly recommend the purchase.

Just got this book and have not had time to read it, but if its like the lost 4 that I have read then I'am looking forwould it.

Great stories, as always, from Michael Connelly.

The first two books of the Harry Bosch series ... and these are abridged so all the unnecessary lengthy bits shaved off. Great for the long drive.
