SUNAVO Portable Induction Cooktop, 1800W Sensor Touch Multifunction Induction Burner, 15 Temperature Power Setting

I bought this to use with Cast irons, not induction-specific gear, and it does work well, however it has the tendency to hot spot the center of the pan. Not the end of the world, since the hot spot is consistently the center and usually not too terrible on my 10" skillet (My most used one), great on my 8", but my 12" almost feels useless on it. Too cold on the outside to meaningfully cook anything, barely warm in fact. Only the center cooking means it has a definite size cap at 10", maybe 11" works but the cold ring already has a mild effect on the 10" so I don't think an 11" would do great, it would probably have that cold outside too.Yes I do let it preheat all the way, sometimes I leave it on there extra long to preheat because it helps the outer diameter be hotter, but only mildly more successful.I do not think I would have such issue with induction specific cookware, so keep that in mind and check a review from someone who does own those if that's what you have.
