Perfect for ankle or even wrist! A family member has a bone spur on their heel. The only solution is to offload the weight and relieve the pressure. Very comfortable for the patient and she is able to use her grabber to easily Velcro it closed. We fondly refer to it as her donut. The podiatrist was happy I stumbled across this one! It enables her to still walk at night when she needs to. Pictured is the medium on my wrist just to show you how well it offloads. The size chart for the medium is very accurate and it fits her well. I love that she is comfortable in it, safe and functional!

My husband is confined to bed and developed bed sores on his heel + ankle. Tried many different types of pillows to keep his foot elevated, but all of them failed to retain their thickness + flattened. When I saw this product I was willing to give it a try, and purchased one. I am so glad I did!!! It works to keep his foot off the bed all night and is very comfortable for him to also wear all day. His sores are finally healing thanks to this product, and I ordered a second one for his other foot just in case, as well as the pillow to support the leg up to the knee! Highly recommend this, especially for diabetics who are more prone to develop sores... Well worth it.

I thought this would help reduce pain in my bad knee during sleep. It lifts your ankle too high off the bed causing the knee to sag and create more pain than without the ring. It would more likely work better if it were say 5-6 inches in diameter rather than the est. 9-10 inches. It also gets in the way of the other ankle trying to lay on the bed.

I have an ankle wound right over the ankle joint and my tossing and turning in bed causes slight movements in the wound dressing that is slowing down healing. This circular wrap pillow lifts my ankle above the bed surface no matter if I am sleeping on my back or either side. It is definitely helping. The down side is the pillow is trapped under the sheets and any other bed covering and tends to resist my movements. An issue in the winter, but in warmer weather I sleep on top of the bed coverings maybe only needing a thin sheet. If I wear heaver pajamas a sheet is not needed. Don't know if my usage was part of the intended use of this pillow, but it works well for me and I am seeing improvement in the wound healing. The material is soft and feels good on my skin. Being adjustable I can place the pillow where it works best for me.

The pillow was great just lying in bed reading--it kep my foor propped up off the mattress. While sleeping, though, the velcro keeping the sides together came apart as I moved around so by morning my foot had slipped out of he ring and was pressing on the mattress, precisely what the pillow was supposed to avoid. Save your money!

this medical device is more comfortable then a therapy boot bandages scraped off but i was able to sleep.

This would be five stars, and they have helped, but the trouble is that the velcro strap of them doesn't work. Velcro is not the right fastener to use for these. It catches in everything, and they fall off easily because of that. If these had a proper fastener on them, they would absolutely be five stars. I might find a way to fit them with a different sort of fastener, I'm thinking about what might work better. These might be okay if the edge of the main strap was double-sided, and they sewed in an extra flap of velcro to cover the top of them to act as a double faster so that way they couldn't come loose or get caught on anything.

I ordered this for a sore on my ankle that wouldn’t heal. My dermatologist recommended a certain bandage. They were very expensive. I saw this and thought it would be perfect. It truly was a game changer. Didn’t allow my ankle to hit the mattress at night. Had a great nights sleep with no pain It’s a must for anyone with ankle or heal issues.
