Escali Bath SC200BS Smart Connect Digital Body Scale

I purchased this scale so that I could have a very precise way to track my weight and calorie intake. I was very disappointed that the bluetooth application did not work on my iPhone because I had iOS 7.0, however the website advertised that it would work on any iPhone with iOS 6.0 or higher. I was forced to upgrade my OS, which I wasn't very happy about. Once I installed the application on my phone, I was ready to set up the device. It comes in a very sleek black design and is surprisingly lightweight considering it takes a very large amount of batteries. The numbers are displayed on a very large display screen, which I like because of my bad vision. You can sync your weight up with the bluetooth application Escali SmartConnect, which I downloaded on my iPhone as I stated previously. The application interface is very clunky and slow. I really don't like navigating through the various menus, however it does have lots of statistics that are great for keeping your weight in check. My favorite ability the application has to offer is the food journal where you are able to select foods you ate that day, and it will display the foods along with their calorie count. Overall, I think this product is a very high quality scale but, with the clunky app and the hefty price tag you might want to try other scales.

The scale itself is consistent, which is much more than I can say for our old scale. The bluetooth feature is useful, and I love that there's an app that allows the scale to automatically record weigh-ins on my phone. The only reason for four stars instead of five is the app itself needs a little work. I would definitely recommend this scale to anyone looking for a consistent and easy-to-use scale. We love it!

It does turn and and tell you your weight.However if you purchased this for tracking fitness with the APP and matching/pairing with a fitness device such as UP forget it.First and most importantly it does not connect with IOS 9.Even if it did connect to the APP...The APP is awful. It does load and open on my I phone. 50% of the APP is an advertisement to purchase either this scale or the associated kitchen scale. After that it is absolutely worthless. It will not connect to the scale. You can manually weigh yourself with the scale and then enter the weight into the app, but the app instantly crashes. So there is no chance of ever getting BMI or any of the other measurements. There seems to be a way to input food and calories, but there are many other apps better for that.It seems IOS 9 is not supported, or at the least does not work at all.So almost a hundred bucks for a plain digital scale with no chance of any smart device interface...this needs to be returned.It may work with Android, some of the other reviews were okay...just very very disappointing.

I am very pleased with this scale. It is great looking and a worthy addition to almost any decor. Most importantly the scale connects seamlessly as advertised to the iphone. I bought it primarily so that I could track my weight and easily mark progress (or lack thereof) toward my goal. In this regard it is a great motivator. One unexpected benefit for which I am grateful are the large digital numbers on the display. I don't have to wear my glasses to be able to read the numbers. All in all it is a great product that I recommend.

I almost returned this because I wanted to use this with my UP3 band, but it works well and is a nice scale so I kept it. It connects with Bluetooth with the app or not it's up to you.

GREAT product, I'm a big guy (about 300) and this scale feels very solid and sturdy. And very accurate and reads the same even with getting off and on a couple of times. The Bluetooth is kinda cool too, although me and my wife don't use it as much as we thought. GREAT SCALE. Thanks Amazon again

A bit disappointed. This product claims it "measures" weight & BMI when in reality it "measures" weight & "calculates" BMI based on your manually input height and measured weight. It does not take electrical inputs and density but instead assumes BMI is is a fixed ratio of height vs weight. I purchased this scale to replace one the actually "measures" BMI (albeit don't know how well or accurate). This is a bit of false or misleading advertising.
