Beep! Beep! Your ideal timer is ready...
We've been using it only a few days, but it's a well-designed and well-built timer. I chose it due to the high ratings on Amazon, and they are deserved. The large readout, the loud alarm, the choice of magnet mounting or table-top stand or hanging by string, and the simplicity of operation--all combine to make this a superb timer. I like the fact that it takes a regular AA battery, not some exotic type of battery. My only quibbles are minor. The on-off switch is very small, though it operates well. The labels on the buttons (M, S, and ST/SP) are hard to read, but there are only three and it's pretty easy to keep track of them. Lastly, the battery compartment cover was difficult to take off and put back on, though I suspect it will get easier with a little wear. Overall, this seems like a great timer so far.

Magnet Isn't Magnetized
I bought this mainly because it had a magnet on the back to stick it on my fridge (I don't have a lot of counter space). But the magnet works zero percent. Other than that, it's been a decent timer. But again, I cannot impress upon you enough that THE MAGNET HAS NO MAGNETISM. I'm not saying it sticks a little...it doesn't do anything. It might as well be a painting of a magnet, and I'm not entirely convinced it's not plastic. I will probably spend some more money at a hardware store to super glue an actual magnet on the back. Also, if the timer is too loud for you, try putting a piece of tape over the speaker on the back to lower the volume. Even scotch tape does the trick.

Recommended, Excellent
Compared to the Chef Amore timer we had, which was okay but not "loud" alarm as it claimed and which failed after a year or so, this one is super. The display is big, bold, and clear. The alarm is loud, you will not miss it. It's easy to use. My only gripe, which I knew when I bought it and not a big deal, is that I wish you could also count up from zero, it counts down from and times a duration you set, which is what one wants most of the time but handy sometimes to time how long something has been in process. But overall it is super.and well priced to boot.

Very satisfied
Very happy with these timers. I bought 2 because the timers we had were so quiet we could not hear then from more than a few feet away. These were reasonably priced, the numbers are large and easy to read, and they make a loud noise then they go off. Exactly what we wanted. My husband has some hearing loss for high pitched sounds, but he can hear these from another room with no problem.

Review of Supreme Home Cook Extra Large Digit Electronic sold by Supreme Home Cook
Update 10/16/2015 to my prior negative review. I sent a detailed Feedback Report to the Seller. He replied and asked if I had used the switch on the side of the Timer. I did not as I never felt a switch while holding the Timer or saw it as my focus was on the battery compartment and the display screen & keypad. The Switch must be very tiny.Since the Instruction Sheet was unreadable for me I couldn't learn about the Switch. I gave the Timer to my neighbor along with a battery & the instruction sheet to see if he could get it to work. He couldn't. He also couldn't read the instructions & didn't notice any switch.I've had other Timers and when I put in the battery a 0 would appear on the screen. &The On/Off switch was on the key pad Unfortunately I disposed of the 2 Timers in the Recycling trash last night. The trash was picked up this morning. Since I can't test the Timer now with this new info I am withdrawing my 1 Star negative review & giving 3 Stars which is Neutral. I don't want to hurt the Seller unfairly. But my negative comments about the unreadable instructions, the poorly made battery door which was difficult to get off & doesn't align & close properly & the almost invisible Polarity Markings still stand. This may indeed be a great timer as others have said. I don't know. I may never know as I'm not sure if I'll order it again.

it is quite easy to fall off while you press the key
i have encounter the display program issues."3" = " ] "9 = 7etc...Its not the display problem, because other words are ok such as 8.for the product design, it is quite easy to fall off while you press the key.I would prefer if it is a flat back.considering it is cheap, i can live with that. This is actually my second one of those, the first one is fine. but the second is like this.the seller did promise a replacement, i would give it 4 star if i get a good one.

Very well dessigned!
This timer is very well designed! It has two features I particularly like: first, the start button is also a pause, a continue and a stop button. Press it again and the downward count starts again. Very good for our Sunday morning waffles. It rests conveniently on our dining table so I don’t have to get up repeatedly to set, turn on, then off the timer on our microwave oven. And second, a single easily replaceable AAA battery powers it, and an on-off switch lengthens the battery life.

If you need to hear it from another room it works great. If you're right beside it
This timer is VERY loud. If you need to hear it from another room it works great. If you're right beside it, it's kind of annoying. I would have liked it to have an hour button. It does go through the minutes quickly when you hold the button down, but it makes it's loud beep with each minute that goes by. It would have been better if it went through the minutes silently. I do like that it sticks to the refrigerator and has an on/off button and the numbers are large and easy to see.
