Simple plug and play. Works without issues.I work from home and have a work laptop. I also use my personal PC with 2 monitors. With this, I can hook up one monitor to both the PC and laptop and switch between them as easily as a push of a button. Works very well so far, will update if something doesn't down the road.This doesn't come with any HDMI cables, but that was expected. I have one HDMI connected to the single-slot side which connects to the monitor. The side with 2 slots, I connected one to my personal PC and one to the laptop. There is a blue, numbered light that shows you which monitor input it is using.I can't seem to put any images from this app, but will do so when I get a chance.

I have an older TV with only 2 HDMI ports. I use a Roku most of the time as it has an app (Spectrum TV) that allows me to watch my Spectrum cable channels without a cable box. The second HDMI port is connected to a multimedia receiver that should allow switching multiple HDMI ports to the TV. The Roku doesn't seem to work through the receiver so it has remained connected directly to the TV.Although I don't watch many DVDs anymore, I do sometimes purchase "instructional" DVDs, like how to use a software application in this case. The DVD player SHOULD be switchable to the TV through the receiver. But, I couldn't easily figure out how to do this. And, I would still have to use the TV's remote to switch from its "HDMI-1" input to its "HDMI-2" input.Too complicated. So, I purchased THIS HDMI switch. The Roku plugged into position 1 and works perfectly. The DVD player plugged into position 2 and works perfectly. No need to use the TV or receiver remotes. Just select the DVD position on this switch and begin using the player with its remote.Picture quality is excellent. No problems as described by some others. Item quality is excellent. Even though no cables were supplied, I had enough of them lying around so that I didn't have to order any.

If your set only has one HDMI port this is a must have. Remember to get 2 extra HDMI cables.

I purchased it for my Xbox 360 and Xbox one. Yes I still have a 360. I had one port for my Xboxs. I ended up purchasing this and it works great. I can use both devices with unplugging each device in to the port. It work great. If you multiple devises and need a sprite to can recommend this one. Easy to use too.

I use Roku to project my samsung phone (sound and video) to monitors in the bedroom and bathroom.This splitter does a wonderful job of instantly diverting my Roku output to either one with the push of it's button. As I walk from one room to the other, it is mounted on the wall by the door, where I push it and never miss a thing.There are white hdmi cables routed (in sight) above the white moldings, but it is a small price to pay. I use Verizon's mobil hotspot because my home internet service fails to cover the back 1/2 of our home (even with a high quality repeater).I highly recommend this "hdmi switch 4k splitter" to add a second monitor or tv to your roku.(The remote for "roku ultra" also works through walls. So you can take the remote with you as you go from room to room.)Don't hesitate, you know you want it!JohnP.s. when you are choosing a new hdmi cable, keep in mind that hdmi cables do have length limits, and you want to choose quality cables. Poor cables will cause problems. Check customer ratings.

Disclaimer - I have no idea if the problem I describe below is the fault of this device, but since it doesn't work exactly as we wanted, I'm reporting what it's like in actual use in our home.We bought this to allow my wife, who is teaching school from home, to use the television as a big computer screen. The single side goes to the TV, and the split side goes with one leg to the cable box and the other leg to my wife's computer.It's a little frustrating to us because it switches from TV to computer just fine, but when we switch the other way, our TV doesn't like it and no signal appears. We then have to power the TV off and then on again for it to work.

Works great as expected well built I used two sided tape to stick to the wall I have a PS4 & XBOX ONE X hooked up to it switches over with a push of a button my tv only has 3 hdmi ports need one for my ps5 very eazy to install a cave man can do it. So far all good will update if there are any issuesAlso I see some people having issues just make sure you plug hdmi from tv into single port and devices into the two on the bottom and try not to use super long hdmi cords the shorter the better

After too many years of plugging and unplugging our Blu-Ray and Roku cables from our television, I finally invested in this little HDMI splitter and couldn't be happier. This small and attractive little splitter is the perfect solution for this problem.It took approximately 15 seconds to plug the Blu-Ray and Roku HDMI cables into the splitter, and then run a third HDMI cable - purchased separately - from the splitter's output to the television. And that's it for setup. A small button on the splitter switches from one input to the other. That's it for operation.The splitter is attractive and pretty unobtrusive, very fairly priced, and easy to set up and use. Unless it breaks in the near future - and I have no reason to think it will - I am 100% satisfied.

I wanted this device so I could easily connect my work laptop to my desktop monitor when I have to work from home. It works fine with my desktop PC, but the monitor says "no signal" when I switch to the laptop. Laptop is a Dell Latitude 3410. I also tried it with an Acer Aspire A315, but that doesn't work either. I switched out all HDMI cables and swapped the ports (thinking one port may be faulty). No luck. I suspect this device may work with higher end laptops. I contacted tech support via email on June 30 (10 days ago) and still no response.

definitely built with aluminum all around. doesn't feel cheap at all. its small and is a good 2 in 1 for a switch and splitter. i had a little worry in the beginning as i connected my monitor on one end and split it to my Nintendo switch and PS4. one end kept flickering (disconnecting) the image. but swapped the HDMI's around and it works perfectly and switches between the two without an issue.

I was very pleased with this purchase and it worked perfectly for both devices I needed to switch between.

This product only supports 4K switching at 30 Hz. Both my Xbox and monitor run at 60 Hz so I just get a black screen when using the switch. The product does work correctly on older technology like my Nintendo Switch, but without support for the new Xbox this product isn't very useful to me.
