This is my first year making cayenne hot sauce; these bottles were recommended. I am impressed with the bottles, caps, and shaker tops. The tops and caps come packaged separately in ziplock bags and are easy to install. These bottles work as expected and I couldn't be happier.

Excellent quality and the perfect bottle for hot sauces. We bought 3 boxes! Comes with drop dispensing insert and cap. We made a range of vinegar, fermented and juiced hot sauces from our pepper crop this year - from jalapeño, habanero, poblano, cayenne, Thai and ghost peppers. Easy to fill the bottles with a funnel - the hot sauce needs to be liquified and not creamy or chunky in consistency to work well in these bottles. Used a blackboard styled label with a white pen to brand each hot sauce to complete the bottle packaging. Highly recommended for home made hot sauces!

Perfect bottle for hot sauce

I make a batch of about 150 bottles of homemade fermented hot sauce every year and give them away to friends and family. Consequently, I go through a lot of these bottles and I have tried lots of brands trying to get the most bang for my buck. There are cheaper alternatives to this brand. There are also alternatives that include more extras like shrink wrapping capsules to go over the top and neck to give it a more professional look, labels, funnels, etc. But in my experience these still work the best. They are made of sturdy glass and the little shaker tops fit tightly. You can tell that they are a good quality, durable product. Once filled they look great. The bottom line: there are cheaper options that might offer more extras, but these work really well and the product quality seems better than some of the other choices. Having said that, If you are not going to make a big production of it, a different brand that offers more of those extras might be the best choice for you.
