Item is ideal for supporting small steps.
This item is very reasonably priced, easy to use, is easily installed and provides stability for narrow steps. The steps on our RV are 24” wide and this support helped directly above it, but did not support the sides of the step well. As a matter of fact, the support would fall over at times when we stepped to either side of it. Do not recommend this item for WIDE steps only.

Works great
I purchased this to stabilize the older version of RV steps on our older rig parked behind our house. After getting the gravel of our driveway cleared and making the stand the right height, it works very well!

Strong stable support
Works great on our sagging RV steps. Wish they were a little taller but works great with wood blocks to raise higher

Some have to use a wrench, you just spin this one to adjust.
Good for stabilizing RV steps so the whole trailer doesn’t shake.

Great addition to the steps.
I originally ordered one and after giving it more thought I added another one to use two and they arrived at the same time. I really think that they should just sell these in pairs because I don't think just using one is a good idea. I took the idea from another reviewer and attached them to a 2x6 so the spacing would be the same and would make it easier to set-up. The nice thing is that it really strengthens the bottom step, the downside for my set-up is that it did nothing to the downward force that comes from the next step to the actual trailer mounting. Our trailer is 18 years old and I am 210 lbs so I always feel that the stress is going to be a problem. I fixed that concern by added two screw jack stabilizers that extend up to the actual mount to the trailer. I happened to have two slide-out stabilizers from a previous trailer that worked perfectly. Now my steps are like stepping on concrete steps, no flex at all. And no stress on the trailer! This might be overkill but that is how I roll.

Easy to adjust
This step stabilizer is Easy to use and nice to have for your safety. I used two for extra security. All you have to do is place under the step and adjust to a secure fit. Make sure you measure for the height you will need because I did not and had to send it back and get the next adjustable height. Stabilizer is a bit weighted and is sturdy.

Worked for my trailer
Like the product. I had issue before of the stair moving or felt like it was moving. With this it more stable and fells better.
