Sturdy, well‑built, and impressively bright. My den has very poor natural light, but this ring light illuminated my photo setup area beautifully. The color temperature and brightness are fully adjustable, allowing me to get very close to natural light. I’ve used Neewer products for years and continue to trust the brand for their consistent quality and reliability.

This is a weighty light with a solid metal frame and clean, simple lines, so you can use it in your home or office, not just in the studio. The diameter of the disk is 46cm, the lit circle is 41cm; it's large enough to act as a soft fill light for vlogging, and to not blind you when you have it in your field of vision (at least if you don't turn it all the way up). The LEDs are built into the frame, the lit area looks uniform. I think this is a good alternative to the Elgato key light; the main reason why I did not get the Elgato is that it depends on Wifi and has no manual controls; I cannot have my light fail me during a video recording because of losing network connectivity. This light comes with both a remote and manual controls on the lamp itself. It also remembers its state when you turn it off. The lamp is 70W at its max setting. For my purposes, that's mostly too much; even at the lowest setting, it's pretty bright. You will need to buy a stand for this light; I've got the Neewer desk clamp, which works quite well. Here is a list of minor criticisms: - The cord it not integrated into the stand but hangs down freely, and the cable between the power brick and the lamp is rather short, so the brick will hang in the air. - The lamp is mostly metal, but the, back, the switch box and tightening knobs are black plastic. It's ok for a work light and really not bad or flimsy industrial design, but it could have a slightly cleaner look for using it at home. - Instead of two potentiometers for brightness and color temperature, this lamp has only one, and buttons to switch the mode. Two control knobs would have been better. - The darkest setting is still very bright, and the change in brightness when changing the color temperature from one of the extreme settings (so the second set of LED's is turned on) is quite strong. I suppose that using a lower minimum brightness would have resulted in flickering. You really cannot use this as a mood light, but as a desk lamp, the minimum brightness is ok.

I've been buying Neewer's products for over 10 years and as cheesy as I thought their product line, was they have gotten much better and what they've been able to produce over the last few years. The quality is incredible. This product is no exception. I just bought two of these "like new," but in all reality they came to me brand new for $99 each. So the value that I got for these items is pretty incredible. The NEEWER Studio Bluetooth Remote Control iPhone App works flawlessly with these two RGB units, and they have an incredible array of lighting effects that work quite amazingly well! Also, These can go very dim to VERY BRIGHT!! Very easy to use. Lastly, they don't give you the weight, but these RGB lights weigh 9 pounds. So make sure that you purchase the right tripod that can handle that weight. Most tripods can easily handle that kind of weight anyway. I highly recommend anybody looking to get any type of lighting equipment. This DEFINITELY needs to be considered!

This is easily one of the best purchases I have EVER made on Amazon. I was looking for a light to shoot video and had previously used soft boxes. I always loved the light quality of sb's but HATED the setup time and portability. I decided to give this light a try and I was BLOWN AWAY!!!! First of this light is super BRIGHT it can easily light an entire room or scene. The brightness is both a pro and a con as you will definitely want to have some diffusion on-hand to bring it down. Even on the lowest setting it's crazy bright. I had some diffusion socks from a beauty dish that I used to soften it up. You may want to get one or two of the smaller ones instead of this one if your intention is to specifically light a face for an interview or do a beauty shot. The kit with the two smaller versions is what I would have purchased had I known what I know today. That is in no way meant to take anything away from this light. It is strong an amazing and the construction is surprisingly top-notch. Use this light to light entire rooms or if you have a lot of space to move it far from your subject or get the two smaller ones for more control and cinematic effects. In either case you are sure to be pleasantly surprised by the output and quality of this light. Lastly PORTABILITY!!!! Its incredibly lightweight, super thin and has a very handy carrying/storage case. Remote control is clutch especially for self-filming!!! Takes about 1-2 minutes to setup and take apart... I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER SOFT BOX. RING LIGHT WHO??? This is the way to go!!! Do yourself a favor and invest in these lights!!

The function of this light (or lamp) is excellent. In doing photography or videography it has become an essential item to position and provide light. Its adjustable brightness and light temperature are highly useful. Note that is also comes with an attachment for a phone as well as a bluetooth remote control. The base provides a good degree of stability without adding too much weight, and the height is easily adjustable with range. The light does plug in to a regular electrical outlet, so it has some limits in terms of portability, but the cord length is adequate and can easily be used with an extension cord.

If you like a big bright light without it being annoying, this is your light. This is not the cheap 20 dollar version ring light. This is the next tier product that mounts to your tripod and gives you a feeling of professional gear. We’ve had this light for 4 months and it has been great. Instantly transforms the vibe/mood to your liking.

Great for compact storage, travel, and everyday zoom use

This soft light is incredible! Definitely worth the money but wish it came with a stand. Keep in mind it’s kind of heavy so you may need a sturdy stand. I wish the cord that came with it would be longer because it’s pretty short but I think the cords the came with my other Neweer lights are also short. I agree with other reviews saying the lowest setting is still a little too bright. In complete darkness this is great but if you only need a little light you may need a soft box to put over this. I use the lightest setting 95% of the time. It really makes my skin look flawless in videos with my Sony camera so I don’t need to do as much editing as before. A soft light like this helps significantly with unflattering shadows you may have under your eyes in videos. Some reviews mentioned it feeling hot after hours of use but I haven’t noticed that. This really helps to balance the cool/warm tones in your video as well too in my opinion.

Je suis photographe et vlogueur donc il m'arrive fréquemment d'enregistrer des vidéos d'opinion rapides. J'aime avoir une bonne lampe sous la main pour avoir le bon éclairage selon la situation. Cette lampe a attirée mon attention donc j'ai choisi de la tester. Qualité des matériaux et finition : - C'est une lampe très robuste pour ce qui est du tube et de la base. La partie de la lumière est faite de plastique en majeure partie et la coque de la base est en plastique mais c'est très robuste et solide néanmoins. - La manette est faite de plastique très léger. Je ne suis pas certain pour ce qui est du niveau de durabilité sur cet aspect mais ça me dérange pas tant puisque c'est une lampe que je vais utiliser à l'intérieur et les boutons derrière la lampe sont assez facile d'accès de toutes façons pour moi. J'ai plus ou moins besoin de la manette. - Le dessous de la base est coussiné sur toute sa surface donc ça évite de grafigner les planchers. C'est tout de même très bien. Expérience de l'utilisateur : - J'ai apprécié que la manette fonctionne aussitôt le protecteur de batterie retiré. Je n'ai pas eu de synchronisation à faire. - La température de couleur offerte qui peut passer de 3000k à 6500k, c'est parfait pour mes besoins d'éclairage intérieur. - Je peux transformer cette lampe en lumière de salon si je l'étire au maximum et la pivote vers le bas. C'est pratique. - Le niveau de puissance , je le trouve impressionnant pour une lampe de ce type et il est assez bien gradué. C'est excellent pour mes vidéos de vlog que je réalise dans mon appartement. - J'aurais apprécié pouvoir passer le fil à l'intérieur du tube ( poteau ) de la lampe pour qu'il traine moins autour mais bon , je peux le fixer avec des sangles au besoin pour que ça m'encombre moins. - La touche ALT permet d'atteindre plus rapidement les 3 niveaux les plus communément utilisés. Ça peut être pratique pour moi quand je suis pressé. Rapport de la qualité versus le prix affiché : Au moment de mon évaluation, cette lampe a un prix affiché de 139,99$, ce qui me semble être représentatif de la qualité et du type de produit. C'est très solide et durable en plus d'avoir une bonne taille permettant une bonne dispersion de lumière. En tant que professionnel , je dirais que cette lampe a une qualité médium élevée très décente comme choix budget. Pour avoir la même qualité en métal intégral , je crois que ça irait chercher proche de 200$ donc pour une personne qui fait attention à ses choses, je crois que le modèle de NEEWER pourrait parfaitement suffire. En conclusion : Je suis vraiment très satisfait d'avoir cette lampe. Elle fait bien le travail et je n'ai pas souvent besoin de la combiner à d'autres pour avoir assez de lumière ambiante dans mes vidéos d'opinion. Je n'ai jamais trouvé un produit vendu à pris abusif avec la compagnie NEEWER et je ne crois pas que ça soit le cas ici non plus donc je le recommande pour l'usage intérieur si vous cherchez le meilleur rapport qualité prix possible.
