Jolly PetsRomp-n-Roll Rope and Ball Dog Toy, 6 Inches/Medium, Red (606 RD)

This is our 3rd order over the years of this product. This is our dog's favorite toy! The ball itself is perfect for an active dog. However the problem is the rope that overtime with play, will work its way out and is difficult to fix and will need continued attention. This most recent order arrived with single knots at each end and within an hour had come out. I can't return this for replacement as my dog had been playing with it when it came apart. We have rigged up the toy with extra rope and it is working for now. Just a warning about this product.

We just got it this morning for our 7 month old Standard Poodle and as of this evening he is still playing with it. The rope is definitely not going to last as he has already shred one end of it, but he really loves it and carries it around room to room, played with it outside and when he is just resting he has it right next to him, so all in all...so far it is 2 thumbs up.

This is our third jolly ball. We have to buy new ones when our dog, who is NOT an aggressive chewer, untangles the knotted rope and fall out. Good toy but we wish the rope was made of material that doesnt shred as easily

It is smaller than I thought but it turns out it is great for our lab when we toss it in the pool. She loves getting it and swimming back out of the pool, happily carrying it. It has some chew marks on the ball but our dog works the toy pretty good. It seems to be holding up. The rope knot came out undone once already. That seems to be the only weak spot. I put it throught with a twisting motion and it came out the other side. Otherwise, you cannot push it through. The hole and the rope together are a super tight fit to try to get the rope through again. I knotted it and I try to toss from that end. I would like it to last in use for at least a year. I hope it does. Overall we are quite pleased with it. The ball does not collapse...at least for our dog it has not.

I have a large dog (tall and skinny, 31kg),And he has already the large romp ball and rope,I decided to also buy him the small size, and he loves it.

I have a highly-active german shepherd who absolutely loves this toy. He is very aggressive and will bite the ball and whip the tail onto himself. Does the same holding the tail and hits himself with the ball as he flogs it around in the yard. He's a big guy at 114 lbs and does manage to put tooth holes into the ball which degrades over time. I tend to replace it every year and a half as the ball becomes too beat up from him chewing as well as the rope eventually breaks down. Given his size and aggressiveness, this thing lasts.

My one year old German Shepherd has her sharp baby teeth and has chewed part way through the rope already. We’ve had it about a month. But it is a great toy and easy for me to throw for her. She loves it.

My dog absolutely loves playing with this - running to get it when I throw it and bringing it back for more, pulling game with the rope, and sometimes just lying with her head on the rope. Hours of fun for both of us!

This was the second one we bought as somehow the first one vanished. The first one was perfect. On this one the rope is able to pull through, so when our dog flings it around, the know eventually gets stuck in the middle of the ball. So I have to pull it through, untie the thick rope, put it through again and retie it. I've had to do this twice now, which is inconvenient..first one never did that. But, the dog loves it and it is a solid toy that she hasn't chewed through (not even the rope!)

The media could not be loaded.  My Goldie absolutely loves this ball. It has retained its shape despite the tooth punctures. The rope has held up to constant daily use (although we do discourage chewing as that will destroy the fun super fast). Doggo thinks it's the best ball to whip from side to side or bounce off the concrete, and we will definitely be buying another if this one ever gives up. Great toy!

My German Shepherd loves this toy! She can grab it by the rope or the ball, and shake it around, chew on it, and play tug of war with her Standard Poodle brother.
