So far so good. Some handy set up tips.
The media could not be loaded. I've had these installed for around a week now. I have 3 valves (and one hub). Overall, they seem to do a pretty good job of focusing my heating in the rooms that I want at the times that I want. No more unnecessarily hot bedrooms in the daytime. They're super easy to physically install. You don't need any tools, you don't need to turn off the heating and there's no risk of leaking pipes as what you unscrew doesn't come in contact with the 'wet' side. The app setup process was fairly easy (or at least it is when you know how). You'll need to buy one version of the valve that comes with a smart hub. To set it up, you download the app and then add your first valve using the + sign to add a device. That sets up the hub. You then need to understand that any valves that you add are added to the hub rather (double press the hub button and then do the power/'m' for 5 secs/up button. The valves will then automatically show up in the app.The are 4 more key things to understand with these valves:1) They only talk to the app every 3 minutes, so if you make a change on the app, don't expect to hear the whirring straight away.2) The app needs to be on to get the valves to change 'target temperature'. This means that you can't (like I prefer to do) put your phone onto flight mode at night.3) The valves do make a bit of noise when turning on/off. I particularly noticed this on the first night when my phone was on flight mode. Haven't noticed it as much since.4) I don't think that they're really suitable if you have fitted radiator casings.

Smart app control for your radiators
I previously tried to add some intelligence to my radiators with Zwave controlled thermostats and it was a painful process and didn't work. Based on my previous great experience with Meross I decided to give this a try. The starter kit has the required hub to control a number of thermostats plus one thermostat.Fitting the thermostat took me 5 minutes. Unscrew the old one and the new one was a straight replacement. There are adapters supplied if you have different fittings which I did not need.Next step was to pair the smart hub to the app - this took about 10 mins as a software update was required. Then you pair the thermostat to the hub - sub 5 mins.In the few days I have been playing with this, it's great! You can set a schedule and let it do it's thing or simply use the dial to set a temperature as required. Previously I'd go into our grandly names "cinema room" and it would either be freezing or stiflingly hot. We now have control back and I am undoubtedly saving money and doing a tiny bit to save the planet! Can't recommend highly enough!

Cheap smart replacement for old radiator thermostats
One in advance. This is my first "smart" radiator thermostat. So I can not draw comparisons with competitors and can "only" describe my own experiences here.delivery---------------The thermostat is delivered complete with SmartHub and power adapter, adapter for RA, RAV and RAVL valves as well as instructions in German and in English. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver, Wi-Fi and two AA batteries.Installation-------------------The commissioning steps are quite easy even for a layman in the field:1. Remove old thermostat (set to highest level first). In my case, it was a Danfoss RA valve to click.2. Install adapter for valve type if necessary. This was really very easy: put it on, screw it on, done.3. Screw on the Meross thermostat.4. Then insert the batteries and calibrate the valve clearance as instructed.Afterwards, the Smarthub with valve is connected to the own WLAN with the Meross app (in my case iOS). I then installed the appropriate Amazon Alexa skill from Meross, which couples the thermostat with Alexa.features-------------Despite the low price (a thermostat costs "only" about 69 pounds) I was very surprised about the functionality. I would like to briefly list the most important functions: automatic mode with time planning (day of week and time), manual mode, manual mode with 3 profiles (heating, cooling, energy saving, each temperature adjustable). The device also has window detection which cuts off heating for 30 minutes when the window is open. A battery warning is also available. And last but not least the possibility to use the thermostat with Alexa and Google Assistant with the language.Conclusion------We like the device very well. We will not need most of the functions because we basically want to operate all home electronics by voice. Let's see how often we need the app at all. The assembly is done even for inexperienced hands in about 15 minutes, so that the thermostat can be put into operation quickly. I will tell you what the long term experience looks like. We will also retrofit our other 3 radiators with the Meross thermostats.

Perfect working and reliable
Great product as all other products from Meross. Reliable and working exactly as it should. Now I am waiting for the add-on radiator thermostat so I can fit them to all my radiators. Just make sure that you set the temp with 2-3 degrees more than the desired room temp because of close proximity to radiator. This is a common thing with all smart radiator thermostats and not a fault.
