RiffBANDZ

I didn't expect these to turn me into John Petrucci overnight, and they haven't. But, my playing has improved noticeably faster by using the Riffbandz on a regular basis. I've found that the effect to some degree depends on where you play; higher on the neck, you can barely tell it's on. Lower down on the neck though, and you can get a serious workout. I've also found that they work better for some exercises than for others.I've found the Riffbandz work best for legato playing, sweeps, and short one- or two-string rudiments (i.e. 1-4-3-4 etc.). They don't provide much effect when I practice pentatonics, for some reason, unless I'm doing 3-note-per-string pentatonics.I've also had a minor issue with the index finger loop coming off, which I've solved by twisting the band before putting it over that finger.I definitely recommend them though. They're cheap, you can wear one, two or three at a time depending on how much of a workout you want, and they do seem to make exercises more productive. I don't use them all the time – maybe about an hour a day, just for practicing rudiments – but they work as advertised.

I bought these kind of on a whim because I have a tendency to really pull my fingers away from the fretboard while playing and that slows me down, as well as not really being good technique. I find that these have actually helped with this and while I don't believe they are going to make me a blistering fast shred master, I do think that they have helped my playing and technique as a whole.

This product has really helped my speed when it comes to my guitar playing. I put it on when I'm practicing and when I take it off I can really tell a difference in my speed. It's sort of like putting a weighted vest on when you're working out. If you work out in that vest for a while, you eventually get used to the weight, and by the time that you decide to take it off, your speed has increased and so have your muscles in strength. Just like this product (But with your finger, hands, and forearm muscles).Also The company are good people when it comes to compensation. I received a package when I had ordered it with nothing inside. So when I told them this, they sent me 2 packs instead to compensate for the empty package I had first received!This is a very Good product.

pretty Kool - after seeing a video of the worlds fastest guitarist playing flight of the Bumble Bee I thought I'd try them. After two weeks of practicing with them it does seem to help my fingers from flying off the fretboard.
