Nice bag, well made
Nice bag, well made. Sturdy zippers (we tested them a tad when fitting our wider car seat). Rubber "Fragile" label stitched to the front is great, and looks nice. I think one more carry handle on the back side (in between the backpack straps, because it was too much for my 5'2" 120lb frame to wear on my back) would've worked well to make it less awkward to carry. My 6' husband obviously had no issues carrying it. For me it was a little large / heavy to hold from the top handle alone, and I just about toppled over when I tried it on my back.We gate checked one flight, and checked into regular luggage on another. Seemed to make it through just fine. Our Maxi Cosi Pria was a tight but perfect fit, and our Diono Radian would've fit just fine as all.I also appreciate the tips from previous reviews so want to do the same for those reading mine: there is ample space in the seat itself to store random luggage overflows if need be! Jackets, toys, dry kiddie snacks, etc before zipping up. I also stored Christmas gifts. Just note, this is most convenient if checking into regular luggage because when I wanted to bring it with me all the way to the gate, I did not know TSA would make me unload the seat from the bag In order to pass the bag through the security belt, and the have the seat manually swipe-tested. I was a bit annoyed at this because let's face it, it's a bit more burdensome than simply taking out a laptop or something! Was glad to have a helping had through security because between a 1 year old, diaper bag, and the having to take out the car seat, I would've been flustered alone

Good value, good quality and spacious. Would love if it rolled as well, but that seems to be hard to incorporate.
We looked for a travel bag across several vendors and were seeking one that met some key criteria: (i) protective padding to prevent damage (ii) zippers that did not fail under minor stress (iii) convenient carrying options (iv) space for a large convertible car seat (in our case, a Britax Boulevard Click-tight)This was one that met all our criteria, and comfortably survived a transatlantic trip both ways after we purchased it with no evidence of any damage to the bag or the car seat inside. The 'Fragile' sticker on the front is helpful, as is the pocket under the top handle for writing in identifying information in case of misplacement etc. The straps are fine, but just given the size and weight of our large, convertible seat with an awkward base jutting out, it felt relatively uncomfortable to carry for any extended period, but this seems inevitable. It is fine for getting from the car to the checkin desk and frees up two hands to tug other luggage (we had a lot) or push the stroller. What would be ideal (and as far as I could tell this is not available in any of the competition either) is the choice of carrying it as a backpack OR wheeling it as a roller-luggage item. If you had to do it, a long trek from a car park to a check-in desk would not be fun. There seem to be many roller-type car seat carriers that don't have backpack option, and the backpack option generally means it doesn't roll. If you are going with the backpack, this one is fit for purpose, is lower cost (but not 'cheap') and from what I can tell fulfills the main goal of protecting your car seat from the abuse of the baggage handling process.

Wouldn't have made it thru the airport without it.
This product was a life saver!! Traveling alone with my toddler and needing her car seat during the trip because 1- it's the safest way to fly on the airplane AND I wanted her contained! and 2- I would need it once we got to our destination. This my HUGE backpack was the talk of the airport with everyone stopping to ask me what on earth was in there, and as I watch many a mom struggle juggling their car seats, children, strollers, and baggage, they all asked me where I purchased this. The straps were fairly comfortable and the one around the waist was incredibly appreciated. Of course at the security check I had to remove the car seat but that was super easy with the design of this bag. I also stuffed my daughters toys and carry on bag inside on the seat of her car seat with plenty of room so I wouldn't have to carry even more stuff in my two busy arms. I have a Graco 4Ever seat and it fit perfectly inside the bag as well as in the airplane seat. I would highly recommend this car seat bag for traveling and while I did not do it. It is so sturdy I could imagine that checking it as baggage or even just at the gate, the car seat would be well protected and the bag would make it out alive. I am 100% satisfied and will be keeping it for future flights or even just car seat storage once those days are over for my big girl.

Reusable carseat bag!
So far, we love these carseat bags! These are padded bags. It helps add protection to the carseats and give the bags more wear and tear. We have used another highly rated brand and were reluctant to use the Compono Carseat Travel Bags. After using the Compono bags, we will be tossing out the other branded bags that barely survived their last trip of one U.S. domestic roundtrip flights, four planes total. After two U.S. domestic trips on five planes, we can say it passed the durability test and gained our trust. Each bag came returned with the usual wear and tear, rubbing our the edges and corners. The zippers are still attached. Great color. Still reusable. The straps are still fully attached. No loose threads. The strap on the top is functional. However, this bag could use two more straps on one of the sides somewhere. Carseats are heavy enough. A carseat inside a bag for a 5ft tall person, pulling it by the one strap or shoulder straps, is a bit of a struggle. For a 6ft tall person, like my husband, it was manageable to have one bag as a backpack and the other he lugged in front of him. He agrees that at least one extra handle on the side would help. We'll be flying a few more time in the next few months. We'll update our review on durability by the end of this summer.
