Great deal if you're on a budget
Great optic for the money. I put this on my SD9 VE, it was easy to install, and zero in!

Works perfectly and accurately.
Ordered and arrived on time. Fitting was flawless. Even came with a battery seal which most do NOT. Instructions came with the unit and installation was quick. Ran many rounds once installed and the unit maintained accuracy.

Decent GREEN DOT
It fits my S&W MP9mm full size, it is a bit big but it works for my 3 gun pistol. It only has a green dot which I don't like, I searched for a red dot optic and this sight came up so I was a little disappointed, but it did mount very easily and instructions were helpful

Did not fit M&P .40
This product states it will fit full size M&P pistols. I have an M&P 40, with no modifications straight from the factory. The F2 dovetail plate did not fit and ended up getting stuck. Even the gunsmith I took it to had to drill it out and pry it off, luckily without damaging the slide of the gun. The sight itself it nice, but the plate adapter it comes with did not fit which is why I bought it in the first place.

Works great at a good price
I own two ADE optics red or green dot sights. The first one I purchased was model RD3-009D for a 1911 (45cal) and then this RD3-009B1 for my Shield. They both work great and I will buy again. The installation is simple with a rear sight tool and I’ve seen videos of them being installed using a brass punch. I had an issue with the 1911 not zeroing. I emailed them with my issue (shooting low) and they sent me a slanted shim to install (no charge) that fixed the problem.Living in California where buying a red dot ready pistol is almost impossible this sight makes it possible at a very good price.

Button placement wrong for mr
Overall it seems ok. But not for me because I hit the brightness button every time I rack the slide. Since I do a lot of dry fire training with a mantis & laser system I’m always reaching up with my finger & pull the slide back just enough to reset the trigger & every time I do I hit the button. Which changes the brightness of the dot. If this is an issue for you look for something that has the buttons on the side or back instead of the front. Easy to install & setup

Don't let the photo fool you on the size.
So far good fit. Green dot has various brightness, doesn't impede with concealment. Haven't shot with it yet, but it feels durable enough for my .40. Mounting instructions could be a little more detailed as it does come prepared for two different mounting accommodations.

Wouldn’t shut off
The red dot fit good and looks to be good quality but after 20 shots with a 9 mm the light got to were it wouldn’t turn off. I had to take the battery out then it started working again and shutting off. But after I shot it a couple more times it started to mess up again. I took it off the gun and now the red dot won’t even turn on at all now.
