This cover is soft-sided and zippers shut. It is easy to install. We immediately noticed better climate control in the room where the trap door is. It prevents dusty air from getting into our home.

This attic stair cover was a perfect fit and installed in just a couple of minutes! It’s rigid enough to keep its shape and it appears that it creates a great seal for an otherwise energy inefficient attic steps.

I just installed it about a month ago but it seems to be helping with the condensation in my attic. The warm air from the living area was creeping up through the pull down stairs into the attic causing the condensation. The rest of the attic is well insulated so I'm pretty sure this was the problem. It's easy to install with a staple gun. I would highly recommend this product if you're getting any dampness or condensation in your attic.

Fits perfect & easy to install with a normal stapler. No need for any fancy tools. Seems to be durable, quality construction. Hopeful that it will help prevent the loss of heated/cooled air into the attic. Time will tell but I’m hopeful!

This may be the easiest house project I have completed so far. After reading another review, I purchased a heavy duty stick velcro for the install. Stick strip onto the frame, velcro to itself, stick cover in place, and you're done. Now my home has improved insulation around the attic, and it's removable if I have something bigger, heavy, or awkward to put up there by myself. It still has plenty of room with the zipper fully opened should you use the nail/staple method stated in the instructions. I even like how the manner of packing left a convenient fold mark for the unzipped flap to flip back on for entry. Around 10min install and no tools needed for the velcro method. Happy insulating!

this was perfect for my attic it was easy to install and know during the winter and summer time the cold and hot air does not go out the attic.

This has made a huge difference not only in preventing cold or hot air from entering from the attic into our main room but also by preventing bugs from coming in.Quality seems well built with a good sturdy zipper.
