The owl!
We've watched this DVD a hundred million times. My toddler is absolutely insane about Tiger's Torch because of the owl. We've watched the owl in forward, reverse, one frame at a time, etc. Then we had to get her a tent and flashlight so she can "take a campout" in the yard whenever she wants just like Kipper and Tiger. She loves the rest of the episodes too. We're Kipper fans in the first place and own almost all of his videos. I personally like the Nothing Ever Happens episode on the Puppy Love disk. I just think it's so cute with a lot of wry/dry humor ("D'ya know Tiger. . . I was thinking, nothing ever REALLY happens. Not REALLY. D'ya know what I mean?" LOL!). Pig's Shop is hysterical when he offers "Free samples" . . . but not really (you'll have to watch to see what I mean!) - and then Pig gets his just desserts in the end! My husband likes to imitate Pig from that episode whenever he picks up our baby to give her a cuddle ("First, we have the Sugar Heart. . ."). One thing I can do without is the Mouse episodes though. For some reason I just find that mouse annoying (but tolerable).

Everyone's Favorite
I am a professional nanny, and like all good nannies have a carpet bag filled with tricks to entertain and amuse the litte ones. By far and away the most requested video/dvd in my collection is "Puppy Love" with the gentle Kipper and his friends. This is a collection of stories revolving around the idea that Kipper is a friend to one and all. The darling "Mouse" is onboard, as are Tiger, Pig, Arnold and others. The values expressed in their little adventures consist of honestly, compassion, loyalty, and doing a good turn. Kipper really models how to be a good friend. And, its FUNNY! No matter how often we have viewed the collection we always get a chuckle if not an outright guffaw! The whole series of Kippers is worth having, but two are standouts--"Puppy Love", and "Kipper Helps Out" which has the oft-requested episode of Kipper and a novus ghost. Kids really laugh at that one.If I could only have one video to share with the youngsters it would be Kipper's "Puppy Love"--no contest!

Love Kipper!!!!
Kipper the dog is the star of this cartoon with his friends Tiger and Jake (dogs) and Pig and Arnold (pigs). Kipper is kind, clever and gentle. The show is fanciful. Kipper befriends aliens, a robot, climbs a rainbow, meets a wish granting, talking frog, uses balloons to float up to the clouds, etc. kipper has more realistic type fun too, like going to the beach and the neighborhood pool.My daughter is 3 now and has liked Kipper for a couple of years. We put this on to help her wind down, it is very mellow. My husband and I both enjoy it too. We have the entire collection.

The Charming British Kipper
As a grandmother longing for calmer quieter videos to show my grandchildren,I find Kipper totally refreshing. This video has many segments on it, about 10 minutes long, which is perfect for almost 3 year olds. I find myself watching these adorable antics (very calm antics)of the charming British Kipper, and enjoying them thoroughly. I like to have this video around for late in the afternoon when nothing seems to suit them, and the calm cute Kipper saves the day, when the children are at my house. If you have no other videos for children, this should be the one to have.

Give it a try! Quality program.
Kipper is one of the best shows out there for preschoolers and up. It has a gentle, yet clever and entertaining vibe. Older children enjoy it if they are watching with younger ones. As an adult whose children have grown and moved on, occasionally I still indulge in an episode now and then because this kindhearted little dog and his friends bring a peaceful and calm oasis that so differs from this tumultuous world we live in. If watching an episode a day was required of all of us, we would all be dwelling in a happier life.

great, always great
I can't say enough great things about Kipper. He's my husband and my favorite. The characters are likeable and never annoying. I don't tire of watching these videos. This collection is great, especially the camping one, which my son was obsessed with (reenacting under his "tent"). The story about the mouse is a little irritation because of the voice and the attitude. But this is not typical Kipper. Usually the voices are sweet and the characters are realistic, flawed, and sweet. They are good moral ideals without ever being preachy.

Not the best Kipper!
We have several Kipper's but this one just doesnt hold my littlies interest like some of the others (Pools, parks and picnics, Cuddly critters etc). Even to me as an adult, it seems to drag a little and I havent watched it all the way through. Also there is a part where Kipper and friend are in a tent and think there is a monster outside, it doesnt bother my 2 yr old but my older child thought it was a little creepy. My advice - choose first from one of the other delightful Kippers.

Just a good show for toddler-aged children
We randomly found it and popped it on never having heard of it before. My two-year-old was instantly glued. The animation is simplistic so there's not a ton of overstimulation at any point. It is very slowly-paced and calm... There aren't a ton of educational moments in it but that's not a big deal to us. Just a good show for toddler-aged children.
