They work great for what they are designed for, but the C clip by the thread stops it from tightening all the way. If you fully tighten it, the C clip comes off, and good luck finding it on the ground by the tree without a magnet.

These are priced right for what they are. And they even tried to make them a little better by adding a C clip to the camera mounting screw. Nice idea but doesn’t work in the field. Clips bind as you screw them into the camera and typically pop off. Maybe they use them for packaging and they’re supposed to be removed? Regardless, small, slightly weird thing that doesn’t matter much. Threads for the tree mount could be more aggressive but they get the job done.

These work with most trail cameras and are nice to have for putting your camera on a tree that is crooked or leaning. The screw can be set parallel to the ground and compensate for the lean. The only downside to these is the little C clip that holds the set screw in place tends to come off when the camera is removed. Then the set screw will fall out.

I’ve always liked this and last way long than a strap

I have many trailcams by several manufacturers (Bushnell, Moultrie, Browning, GardePro, Tasco, Scoutguard, Spypoint) and none of them will work properly with these mounts. The bolt is just a little to long and the camera just flops around. You will need to add a small washer or nut to make up the difference to get the camera to fit securely.

Super easy to use. Get the angle you want.I drilled a smaller hole then screwed this hanger in. On the angle I wanted. Super easy. Tightens up very nicely.
