JQUEEN4 Automatic Watch Winder with 6 Storage Case (Mandshurica)

I just saw this review for another Jqueen watch winder and it's applicable to this one as well. I wish I would have seen it before I bought this watch winder!Quite and smooth motors. Beautiful woodwork, fit and finish. Holds watches securely and easily. Two 45mm watches fit onto one of the winding pods with room to spare. Truly incredible value at $140.Here is the issue! Even the most infrequent winding setting is STILL too robust. Two minutes of rotation and six minutes of rest still keeps the mainspring at a fully wound tension. This is NOT what the mainspring is fabricated to do. It is meant to wind and unwind over the course of its very long lifetime. Keeping the mainspring at full tension 24x7 will damage your watch [even though it does have a clutch to prevent over-winding]. Moreover, many watches will run fast if the mainspring is kept at full tension. Here is a suggestion.I recommend that you plug this unit into a programmable wall timer. Program your timer to have the winder off at least 8 hours a day. I have mine set to be off 12 hours each day. If you have a watch with a power reserve indicator, you will be easily able to determine adjustments to this recommendation. Remember, most automatic watches have a power reserve of at LEAST 40 hours. When fully wound, they can easily cover the 8 [or more] hours of down time and their mainsprings will appreciate the break!!

I'm a watch collector, my experience with watch winder boxes has been abysmal ... the vinyl pillows flake and stick to my watches, the carousels make noise til they quit turning altogether... but the boxes have been beautifulTHIS was a bit more expensive, but I see quality here better than my others. Leather pillows won't disintegrate or, at least, they shouldn't and an 18 month warranty says something.This thing isn't quiet ... it's silent. It sits next to me in my office and I've never heard it start or stop. Since I have a Panerai with SOPRAS (a meter that indicates charge), I can see that it works.I'm going to use it awhile, and then buy a couple more to replace my junk ones.

Beautiful, quiet; I just love to see my watches in the box and love the fact that I don’t habe to wind therm all the time!!!! Nice quality and great for the price.

Elegant look and high quality storage. Winder supports 4 different settings, which should work with the most of automatic watches.Clockwise spinning makes very little noise but counterclockwise spinning noise is a bit louder. I won't suggest keeping the case in the bedroom.Overall, very happy with the storage case.

If I was only rating the overall look and design of this winder, then it would be 5 stars, no questions asked.The problem/concern I have with it is the pads that hold the watches. The 4 pads that fit into the rotators have 2 sizes, made up of the regular size pad and an outer sleeve. I have a few high-end watches that don't fit well on either size. My watches are sized to my 6 3/4" (approx.) wrist. If I take off the outer sleeve, then my watches bounce around as they rotate and almost seem like they'll fall out of the holder. If I use the outer sleeve, then the watches fit securely in the winders but it's a very, very tight fit to get my watches on the holder. I'm concerned that overtime I will be stretching out my watch bands. Not sure if I will keep the unit or not.

FIRST OF ALL "THE PACKAGING The Box specefic - the box package was packaged but the box was lose within the box. It looked like the product was repackaged, and done poorly. the strofoam looked as if it was worn away on top and was very lose when put into place. the plastic protector on the glass window was very wrinkeled and looked liked it was taken off and tried to be replacedThe key for the box does not fit as the box probe was too thick for the hole in the key. The pillows that hold the watch in place were too small and could not be enlarged, at least by me. I saw no way to stretch thes holders so the watch would not move as it was being wound.I all the box looks good, a little big but good however some thought has to be put how this box works and size the moving parts accordingly. The pillows are the wrong size and cannot be resized, The look ley also has to be replaced to fit the box

Nice quiet, smooth operation. Hope it lasts. Last one I bought (different brand) was noisy and did not last two years. Have had this unit about two weeks... so far very satisfied.

This is my first watch winder and I should have bought one years ago. Apparently it is not good for automatic watches to stop working. This review is for the 4+6 model. This model is huge and I didn't pay attention to the advertised dimensions before ordering! However, I needed a model with at least 3 winders and I am OK with the size. The unit itself appears to be of good quality. I worked out that my watches needed between 700 and 800 TPD and apart from one, needed a clockwise turn. So I worked out that Mode 2 (Mode 1 is off) was the only one that suited my watches. It is important that the watches are not overwound and certain modes would result in over a 1000 TPD. The largest watch I have is 46 mm in diameter . I also have a Tag Heuer Carrera 1887 and the Omega Speedmaster moon phase. The watches all fit the cushions and have kept time well over the past few days and so I'm well pleased. Now for the noise. Unfortunately, it is not totally silent. However, it is certainly not loud enough to disturb sleep. It sits right next to my night lamp and it hasn't woken me up yet. Overall for a little over 100 pounds, this unit is very good and comes recommended.

A reliable and very nice watch winder. A real centrepiece that requires space and draws attention. Works flawlessly for a half year now. It has a little noise when it is open but closing the cover reduces it to bearly noticeable. Recommend.

This is a beautiful watch box. It is classy and stylish and very quiet. My husband loves it.

The product was as described and arrived on time. The product was very well packed to avoid any damage in transit. Good value for the money I paid.
