Kick start the charger.
I tried to charge my scooters battery but the smart charger could not detect the battery, I use the trickle charger to put enough charge in the battery for the so-called smart charger to detected and start charging.

LED indicator is green charging or not
Description says the LED indicator should be red while charging but the unit I got has the LED lit green even when not connected to a battery.Update: After bringing the battery charge to a high enough voltage level, maybe around 11.7v the LED indicator turned red.
