Bonita Pele Moisturizing Tepezcohuite Skin Care Salve

Lord knows my skin is full of woe. Fingertips have split open and hurt badly. Tepez has closed the cuts at least. Still so so rough dry (unfeminine embarrassing) but pain gone. 7 days of use.Tepez co hee teeIs how its pronounced.I like that its tasteless, harmless to ingest and within moments odorless so ya don't have to wash your hands again just to pull off leaves of lettuce. Water hurts and soap hurts, so if I've just washed and applied salve I can handle food without washing what i've just put on right back off.Few lotions/creams can be applied to any area of my face without my eyes becoming inflamed but this Tepez I can even apply above my brow and right next to my nose with no untoward effects on my eyes.It isn't greasy. You can type or handle a tablet without issue if its on your fingers.Its is a stiifer smooth salve. Mine is a lavender tone. Nothing grainy or gritty and unlike the other reviewer no separation of ingredients has occurred. The maker must be paying attention.

I bought this because it is the only product that states it uses the prime inner root bark of the tree. Also the carrier ingredients are "natural" and do not cause me concern, unlike several other products like this. It seemed like the ingredients had separated a bit with the hard beeswax on top. I slightly melted it to the point where I could stir it and a lot of the root bark came up from the bottom. This left the ointment softer and easier to apply. this is truly an ointment and not something that can be used if you are going anywhere. It has little brown gritty pieces in it (I assume the root bark). I am aware it is hard to dissolve the bark completely so that is acceptable. It goes on very tacky and looks greasy with brown speckles. I used it after a facial chemical peel and it healed the burning and redness very quickly. I also dab it on a facial wart and it is shrinking a lot. I will use it for various things but wish there was a product of this quality that could be used as a face cream. Not sure I would call it moisturizing, but it is protective and healing. I would buy it again but I think it will last for quite a while.

It"s an ointment. Plain and simple. Not a bad thing just very solid and have to press hard with finger to get any out. It is a much larger amount than expected. Should last a long time. It is truly unscented. I have rosacea. Only used twice so far. My skin is left very soft. Have to dab on because not creamy almost tacky. I wash it off in morning so I can use makeup. I have to figure out how to blend it with a body moisturizer. Will be using for a long time to come. Thank you for this product.

Awesome product! I have dry sensitive skin ... This stuff is great! I ordered a 2nd jar the next day & a bar of the soap.
