There are many mounts out there to provide POV options but the problem is, they aren't very versatile. Though the title of this product has "back pack clip" on it, it really can grapple onto more things than a back pack. Because I travel with a messenger style camera bag, I was looking for something to be able to latch onto a cross body style strap. This is the perfect solution to that with the ability to rotate the mount to find the perfect angle.The clasp for this mount is so strong making the GoPro feel very secure. I even have an aluminum shell for my GoPro Hero4 Silver and even with the added weight, the mount feels stable. I'll be traveling to India and Maldives next week so I can't wait to put this through the pace.I also love the fact that this mount is a grab and go style mount. Meaning I can attach the GoPro onto my strap and shoot POV clips or I can unattached the clip quickly to use handheld for a wider range of shots and selfies. Unattached, it also works great as a stand.As far as the build quality, I'd say it's quite solid and exactly what you're paying for. I also love the blue thumbscrew and in my opinion adds an urban touch to the mount. All in all, I'm very happy with this.

I've only had this item for about a week so I can't really talk about it's durability (which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars), but this clip is definitely well made and much sturdier than another clip that a friend is using for his GoPro camera. The clip spring itself is very strong and I have no worries of it falling off where ever I clip it to. The rotating platform makes it easy to set up the camera POV based on how you clip it. The clip size is large enough to provide a stable platform (for my GoPro Session) to a lot of things that I've clipped it to and even acts as a simple stand when set on a table. The blue metal thumbscrew works great if you're wearing gloves and I've had no fitment issues with it in the clip or using it with my other mounts. The thumbscrew is a little shorter than some of the other thumbscrews that I have which is a plus for me since it won't stick out and snag on my other gear straps or cords. This is definitely one of my favorite mounts to use because of it's versatility and I'm 100% happy with this item.

This has been great. The clip itself is a very hefty, sturdy plastic device. The spring used for the clamp (for attaching to backpack straps, etc) is very very strong, which is good. It takes a lot of force to open it, so that coupled with the large area of "teeth" allow for an unshakeable grip.The rotating part rotates and locks into place, and locks into like 15 or 20 positions, allowing you to secure it at pretty much any angle you need. I also liked the metal screw that comes with it. I actually use it for most of my go pro accessories because it's heavier duty. I used this recently kayaking as well as hiking through tropical rain forests. The camera was in the waterproof case, attached to the clip mount. And the clip itself is pretty large, so you ca unclip it from your backpack and use it as a makeshift camera handle.

I had this clip for a year or so and used it a lot especially in a two week period of vacationing. I clipped it to my backpack strap for great hands free pov videoing. I didnt feel awkward having to have it strapped to my chest or head and felt this clip was a great solution. I will be ordering another because after the heavy use the plastic did recently break.

PERFECT accessory! i love this so much! it can clip ANYWHERE and ANYTHING and the best part is that it is SUPPPERRRR durable and the clip will definitely stay on. i clip it to my backpack strap or my jacket and use it the same way you would with a gopro harness but much less fuss and i can take it off and put it back on with ease. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. my favorite gopro accessory so far!

I really like the concept and the clip seems to be well made EXCEPT for one aspect -- the grooved slots from the camera housing/case [using a waterproof case do NOT fit into the slots of the clip in such a way you can get the screw aligned and then tighten. Very disappointing. Perhaps a different housing might work but I don't have access to those items on this trip. I guess I should have tried it before I left. But a GoPro accessory shouldn't have a different width than the other accessories. Still, it is a great idea

Very well built and for outdoor work a very versatile mount. We work in wildlife habitat restoration so moments happen quickly. The clip mount keeps the camera on what we see capturing those moments for research and enjoyment. Using it in the shop allows an easy setup to show the whole project.

I love my GoPro! I love my GoPro accessories. This clip, my newest accesory, is amazing! I haven't had the chance to do any extreme hiking or sporting, but I went up on my roof last night just to try it out and I love it!! It makes for some pretty crazy angles with the ability to turn it 360 degrees. Also, it's a very sturdy clip, not one of the usual cheap plastic made items. If you're looking for a durable piece to add to your GoPro collection for added views and shooting styles, this clip is the answer. Going to take it camping this weekend and really get some good footage!
