I’ve owned 4 GoPro cameras and I know that this type of action cameras really come to life when you use them with accessories. Hence, I’ve bought several indispensable accessories and a couple of non-indispensable ones since I bought my first camera.The goodLet me start by saying that I believe that this kit provides incredible value for your money. Out of the box, the quality of the accessories seems to be as good as GoPro Accessories. And some of them, such as the anodized aluminum screws are even better than the original. All of the accessories came in plastic bags.A couple of days after I received my kit, I got an email from Nomadic Gear thanking me for my purchase. This email included an EBook called “GoPro 101 Hands on Photography Guide”. This was a nice touch.I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered a Smartphone Holder among the accessories. Then I discovered an accessory called Tripod Adapter which coupled with the Smartphone Holder allows you to use all GoPro-specific accessories with your smartphone (see picture for an example).The badThe case is one thing that I can’t seem to come to term with. For one thing it is too small to hold all of the accessories. That is not so bad, because I usually travel with the accessories that I will need based on the place that I am visiting. What I really don’t like is the foam frame that comes inside which should help you sort out your accessories. The only shapes that I could figure out were the forms of the camera and the battery. I couldn’t figure out what the other shapes are for, which is a bit annoying because this does not allow for an efficient use of space within the case. This is the reason why I gave this kit 4 stars.Another thing that I did not like much, but which I have to admit is as advertised, is the Wrist Strap Mount. I had seen a video review of this kit from January 2016 where the Wrist Strap is presented with a 360 degree capability. In fact, the Wrist Strap Mount is the same as the Head Strap Mount (see picture). I don’t think that it is practical to have a camera attached to your wrist, which you can’t turn around without moving your arm. As I mentioned earlier, the Wrist Strap came in its static version, as advertised, but I believe that the 360 degree version is way more practical.On the fenceAlthough the selfie stick is too big to fit in the accessory case, I usually keep my selfie stick outside my case, so that wasn’t a problem for me.After I unpacked the tripod, I was a bit puzzled as to how to attach it to the bottom of the Selfie Stick. After some tinkering with pliers, I discovered that you can remove the screw that holds a thin lanyard at the end of the Selfie Stick. Once you have removed this, you can install the tripod mount (see picture).All things consideredAs I mentioned above, I believe that this kit is worth it because of 1) the price, 2) the amount of accessories and 3) the quality of everything that comes in the kit.

Effing great! Case sucked. It failed when I opened it. Zipper worked as good as my fourteen year old son. But everything fit in the new case I bought from harbor freight. Everything I've used works great. The tripod is metal and has good pads on the feet. The head gear is comfortable and doesn't move. The stick works and is durable. I love the cell phone holder and the camera base adapter work great. Everything seems like better quality than you get from go pro. But the stuff isn't a perfect fit. Don't get me wrong, all of Nomadic stuff fits each other well but combined with go pro it's just not quite perfect. Lucky for me the only thing that came with mine is the camera housing so it's all great.

We recently took a trip to Southeast Asia and needed some GoPro accessories to use when we spent a day volunteering at an elephant sanctuary as well as snorkeling in Bali.This kit worked out so well! I was concerned that the stick would rust but we took it in salt water several times and never had any issues.Surprisingly our favorite accessory was the wristmount. It was so easy to keep the GoPro on our wrists in order to keep our hands free when we were with the elephants. We never had to put the camera down and could still capture great moments.The case it comes in was wonderful for travel. We didn’t bring every accessory in this kit with us, so it allowed us to put our other electronics in there to keep everything together. We learned that Asian airlines are very strict about not checking any type of battery so when we had to do a last minute luggage shuffle it was easy to just grab the case and stuff it in one of our carryons. All of the batteries we had with us fit in that case.If you’re looking for some GoPro accessories that won’t break the bank, I’d go with this kit. You might not use everything it comes with but for the price it doesn’t matter.

I just bought my first GoPro and was looking through all the accessory kits on Amazon, and I kept seeing the cheap $30 ones. I had a feeling those were all junk. Then I came across this one, and everything in it is amazing quality. The thumb screws are even better quality than the ones GoPro provide.I bought the GoPro bundle that came with a head mount, and I tried both the one in this kit on and the GoPro one, and I couldn't find a quality difference. I saved a ton of money if I was going to buy these items individually from GoPro, and I feel like they are the same quality or better than what GoPro sells.Well worth the extra money to buy this kit rather than the cheaper ones on Amazon.I will definitely be going to Nomadic if I need anything else or lose any parts.

This kit has most of what you want and the accessories appear to be of higher quality that the cheap sets (I bought a combo cheap set and could tell the difference immediately). This kit uses anodized aluminum quite a bit, higher quality plates, a really decent selfie stick, and many standard mounts to give you most of what you want. The reason I dinged it 1 star is that the bicycle bar mount has screws which have a lot of of play and won’t tighten completely. I’m going to a local hardware store to buy longer (maybe wider) screws which should solve the issue. Also the Allen key supplied for the bike mount doesn’t fit the screws in the pictures. The rest of it is really nice and I think should last quite a while. The carrying case fits everything but the selfie stick, but it isn’t clear as to where you should put everything inside it. Overall a big upgrade over cheaper sets.
