Good for protection and off the grid needs
these blackout bags really work, Tested my phone with the small one and it completely lost reception. It works really well for me. They do get a little beat up if you keep using them, but so far the bag itself has not been ripped and its last for now. the quality of the bag is not bad either so i do not expect it to tare any time soon. These are good quality bags for protection and off the grid needs.

Very Nice Product
Product looks great! Nice assortment of sizes, fit all I needed. Will update after the big dreaded "EMP", and if it protected my electronic data......

These bags are a good size and can also be used for other equipment
These bags are a good size and can also be used for other equipment, but care needs to be taken because the substantially thick, silky metallic fabric can get thin tears with any squarish item, and a flat, rounded corner item is best of course. I put all kinds of electronic items in the bags to see what they would hold, and if a moderate amount of items, batteries, portable flashlight-radio etc. could be put in them. I would say, yes, but be very careful, and put these bags on a tray or flat surface of some kind. Plugs, and an antenna must be carefully packed so as not to pierce the package. Ironically, these bags are rather fragile. Putting these items in a nylon or net bag and then putting them in the larger bag might be good insurance.

Works....
Good bags, thick and seal well. I tried a cell phone and it didn't have signal. a GOS and a ham radio in them and didn't get a signal.

Hopefully this will work!
I store batteries and two old hard drives in these. I don't know if they work because I am sitting here waiting for an EMP event. If and when that happens, I won't get back to you, because my computer will no longer be working, but I hope my flashlights will!
