My wife wanted something that could do the k cups as well as regular coffee so I found this. I was happy to see it did froth as well. The coffee is a single cup system which works well because we don’t drink that much but it makes a strong cup of coffee. Great stuff!

I do not like to leave negative reviews. This coffee maker is slim, doesn't take up much space and the first cups of coffee were really good. Great froth. We purchased on Oct 14 and we are having to send it back today as it has stopped working. Put in 10 oz of water and it brews only a couple of ounces. Thouut not cool when it doesn't work as it should. Hopefully Sboly can work out the kinks in this product as it has potential.2nd UPDATE: Received a new coffee maker but have the same issue as the first one. Disappointed to say the least and hope this company can work out the issues as it is a neat machine.UPDATE: Due to excellent Customer Service response I have increased my rating to 4 stars. Sboly Customer Service has gone out of their way to resolve my issue with the coffee maker. I'm so confused. I live by the reviews on amazon & trust them. That's why I chose this coffee maker. I haven't had one good cup of coffee from this machine & I really hope i just got a random lemon.The first time I used it, when I took the cup out of the base, the glass part completely separated from the bottom and the entire drink flooded the machine and went all over the place. I thoroughly cleaned everything, made sure the rubber thing was tucked in tight around the base of the glass, made sure it was turned completely to lock (which is marked as unlocked/they're opposite) and wouldn't pull apart, made 2 successful drinks before it happened AGAIN. Is it twisting itself off during the frothing process?? I cannot tell. But now, after the second total flooding of the base, the frothing mechanism isn't even turning on, just the heat.Beyond that, I have tried varying combinations of amount of water and amount of coffee (filled the basket to the top with espresso roast even) and every time it's so watery it doesn't taste like coffee at all, more like coffee flavored water.I'm hoping the seller will see this and take care of it because now that you can only return items via UPS it is super inconvenient. Especially when the item is defective like this. Plus, I am always afraid when I send back a defective product, amazon is just sending it on to someone else to deal with because it seems to happen a little too often..UPDATENow the plastic on the bottom of the glass mug seared onto the heating base. Why is there plastic there?!? I'm returning it and getting a different one all together. Too many defects. No idea how so many people like this machine.UPDATE#2Contacted Amazon chat, they said the seller requires the item, even though defective, be returned for a refund. BUT I have to do all the work. It's literally a piece of trash, that will go into the trash when they get it. I now have to wait at my house all day tomorrow for UPS to come to pick it up because THEY have to apply the label, I can't simply print one and leave it at my door. I'm floored by how horrid this company's customer service has become.I bought the Nespresso by De'Longhi EN85BAE Nespresso Essenza Mini as the replacement and I absolutely LOVE it. Anyone reading this looking for a new machine, go for that one.

Hello, I’m hoping to find some tips w my coffee maker. This is first time I’ve bought a single serve, pod (compatible) unit. I use loose coffee and no matter what I do, the coffee is weak, has an odd smell (like plastic) and I noticed it looks like almost clear water coming out at the end. What am I doing wrong? I saw a lot of positive reviews so before I return this, I wondered if anyone had any tips. I must say, it’s the perfect size unit for my small countertop. I’d really love to love this maker so any tips before I have to go back on the hunt for another unit would be helpful, thank you!Update: customer service reached out and informed me there is a new version coming out w a larger basket for loose coffee and has offered me a discount to try it. I will let you all know if that does the trick. They have also refunded my money (w no obligation to return the defective one) bc the buttons were faulty. Given these things, they asked for a higher rating so based on CUSTOMER SERVICE, I am increasing my rating.Honestly, I really would love for this to be ‘the one’ when it comes to a coffee maker - it’s the perfect size for my counter and so nice looking. I LOVE this machine. I had just bought 2 Nespresso makers and a Keurig to try, but this is the best, for my needs. I love that it has the built-in frother. It doesn't froth as well as the separate Nespresso machine, but for daily quick coffee, I like not having to wash a separate frother. I actually just drink the coffee out of the blender, since the bottom is hot, it keeps the coffee warmer.I think I've figured out that these coffee machines don't make a very big, strong cup of coffee....I like a lot of creamer, so 2 K-cups make a regular sized cup for me.I bought an extra carafe in case I break this. It's glass, and I can get a little clumsy when I'm in a hurry.I couldn't figure out how to use the Nespressos, but I think those will make a stronger coffee. I still have them, and will eventually try to figure them out...once I figure out how set to the clock on my VCR!I'm a Baby Boomer...kind of tired of learning all these new machines...having to read the directions takes a long time. My brain is exhausted.
