My mother in law is going overseas again and this time I was not taking a risk of loading up the bag then going to the airport and hope we are within the weight limit. We tried so many times to weight a box on a flat scale, but seriously one of the hardest tasks ever and could never get the accurate results. It was very simple with this device, seriously super easy. For the bags, we just strapped the handle and lifted and the results were digitally right there. For any of the boxes, we just tied a simple rope around the box and lift the box with the rope and was accurate to the last digit when we arrived at the airport. What really made my mother in law happy, was I was able to put it in her luggage so when we got gifts overseas she could weigh it properly there too.

Weighing my luggage before traveling had always been a problem; I had to use the traditional scale to get the correct weight again and again. With the luggage scale, I can get the weight easily and correctly, and it is light so I can take it with me while traveling.

This might be off a pound or so, but it definitely is good for my needs. If a bag weight is close to maximum, I always take a little out to be on the safe side. Then I don't have to fiddle with an ound or two at check in.
