I'm about 5'8 and find this Yoga mat's length is appropriate for my height. I use it almost daily for my physical therapy exercises and it's not slippery even when I sweat during aerobic workouts.After several months, this mat does have a bit of wear; surface scratches and indentations because I use it frequently, but nothing that impacts it's functionality. I adore the pink color. The material smells fine and it's still soft, yet firm. This yoga mat is a bit bulky and the carry strap is helpful. I like the thickness and would definitely purchase this yoga mat again. It's a super comfy and a great value for my money. Keep well!

The quality of the material is incredible, it’s a super soft feeling foam but thick and durable so it’s easy to balance on, it doesn’t move around on the floor so if you’re looking for a mat to use for workouts, yoga, stretching - you will not regret buying this.Great value for money and the color is beautiful. I've had this mat for almost two weeks and I am pleasantly pleased however it is getting four stars because there's already a little wear in it. (I use the mat daily/twice a day). Given the wear in it based on just the first couple weeks (which isn't terrible might I add just little bumps here and there) I give it about six months lifespan. Will edit and let everyone know. Opening up the package there was a little bit of a weird smell but I disinfected anyway and it was gone after the cleaning. A bonus is the carrying strap that comes with it..I don't even need to buy a case for this - that said, a lot of the standard cases probably won't fit this product because it is extra long and extra thick for a lot of different body types to use. I'm 5'5 and it's super long for me so I think if you were 6'0 or even taller this would work out well for you.I have knee issues from previous sports injuries so doing things like modified pushups/stretching exercises and yoga can take a toll but this mat is awesome. Very thick and good at absorbing any tension in the body. Because of the price and free shipping through prime I actually bought two in two different colors before knowing how well they were going to work out but I'm glad I did. This is one of the better mats I've used.It's purely functional though - the colors are kinda blah and no fancy designs that some women prefer and it's a bit utilitarian however I don't really mind. What counts here is that my hands and knees are super comfortable when I'm doing workouts on these and it allows me to extend further, concentrate, and open up more because the distracting pain I was feeling before has been lifted. Great purchase.

I highly recommend this mat, particularly for anyone with knee issues. I've been using it regularly for my yoga practice on hard wood floors, and it provides excellent cushioning and comfort. A great bonus is that it lays perfectly flat as soon as I unroll it, even though I store it rolled up. It has held up well over the past few months with no problems, and the included straps make it very convenient to carry. I'm very happy with the quality for the price.

I'm 6'3-6'4 depending on the time of day, I weigh *just* under 400lbs thanks to a decade of sedentary work followed by six months of better eating and exercise. Now that I've hit a point where I can be on a stationary bike for like, 30-40 minutes without getting gassed and I'm getting up to about 5 minutes on an elliptical at a time, I've been looking at ways to do other low-impact exercise and increase my ability to recover after lifting. I've been really digging the hip adductor/abductor machines, but they make my leg muscles suuuper tight and my flexibility already wasn't great. So, stretches!Problem? Yoga mats are for small, skinny people. I'm big, my butt don't fit on the mat right. I'm heavy, the little thin mats might as well not exist when I kneel on them, under my weight the matt compresses so much it's literally just like kneeling directly on the hard ground and, again, I'm heavy so that hurts.Solution! An INCH-THICK squishy mat that's slightly wider than all the ones at the gym so my big butt fits on it and at no point do I ever feel my bones on the ground. I will say, it's actually so thick I can't "securely" stand on it, my feet are always moving around because it's so springy. I might need to pick up the 1/2" version as well so that I have one I can hold standing positions longer without wiggling around. But! For doing the big ground stretches, trying to do sort of "splits" to increase mobility, this is perfect, because my bad knees never get tired or hurt and I can just DO all my long floor stretches now even though I'm tall and big and heavy and stiff.

The media could not be loaded. I was having such a difficult time keeping up with my at home workout program but now with this new mat I can jump and it doesn't hurt my back! It supports my whole body with the thick pad and absorbs extra movement. It rolls up and back out nicely. However I did find it slipped a little but I was doing very fast back and forth shuffling with my feet. It is nice and thick and the straps I haven't used because I keep it at home anyways.

Perfect for the concrete floor in my garage gym. It's 1 inch in thickness and very comfortable!
