Does its job, Looks great, but some tips below...
Installed this on a new house..INSTALLATION----Installation was fast. Everything fit perfectly. Took me 20 minutes working alone to remove the old deadbolt and install this one.For very remote phone control, the lock includes a small WIFI receiver that needs to be plugged in to an outlet that should be at most 5-8 feet from the door. Also your wifi modem/router or wifi extender should be within 10 feet from that receiver as well. To ensure this, I placed my WIFI extender and the Lockly wifi receiver on the same outlet next to the door. No problems with transmission. You can use the lock without the wifi receiver, as it can connect by bluetooth to your phone, but you will lose monitoring when you're not close to the lock if you do so, and some functionality.FUNCTIONALITY----This lock has multiple access methods: key, pin, fingerprint, phone. The pin on this lock must be 6-8 digits. You can set the # positions on the pad to change positions every time, or opt to leave them in the same position. Randomization is to deter lookie loos who might see your pattern when entering the pin. You can add guest accounts with their own pins, and set expiration dates. The fingerprint sensor works very well for me. When setting up it asks for 6 positions, then you can opt to add 6 more to make it more clear. I believe it stores some 100+ fingerprints for multiple users. For instance, I can set up all 5 fingers for myself, and others. The fingerprint reading and unlock response is very fast. BUT the fingerprint sensor does not work consistently for my dad who is 83 and did much manual labor. I think his fingerprints are just worn out. He's opted to use the old fashioned key method - it comes with 2 keys. There is also a door close/open sensor included. This sensor lets the lock know if it should autolock when the door is closed. You can set how long after the door is closed before it autolocks. The sensor also allows you to monitor if the door is closed/locked on your phone IF you have the wifi set up.Overall I'm very happy with this lock. It looks great and provides multiple secure options to access the lock based on need.I score the lock 96/100- THOMAS LEE AMAZON REVIEWER

Best Lock for me
First of all, I can't speak to installation as my brother installed it. He said it was fairly easy. I am retired. My condo is 3 stories. It's 18 steps up from the front door to the main level. I bought this lock when I sprained my ankle and couldn't make it down the stairs to let anyone in. I've had it now for 2-1/2 years. It works perfectly. I've only replaced batteries once. We have only used our fingerprint to unlock the door and have never had a problem. Rather then walking down the stairs and back up, 111I use the Lockly app to unlock the door remotely when I have visitors. I use it with my Ring so I can see who's at the door before opening. I've also had packages delivered and the driver put just inside the door so it's not left outside. It's been life changing and I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a good reliable remote lock.

Peace Of Mind
I am pleased with everything about this lock. From its clean design to multiple unlocking options, it is an absolute must for any home security system. I won’t say it’s a simple setup, although many reviews have said it to be. It’s only because my OCD causes me to spend a little extra time double & triple checking everything. I like the options of digital passcode(static or random mode), multiple fingerprint, physical key & in app. remote (un)locking. I personally have not had any issues since installing, although my children have said they’ve experienced excessive beeping while attempting to lock/unlock on a couple of occasions at which time I was able to unlock remotely while out of town. I found no issue through the app log or the physical lock itself when checked. I also like the ability to set a self lock time once the door is closed. Mine is set for 30 sec. If you happen to have your door open longer than set time it’ll automatically lock as soon as it’s closed. Having Alexa check or unlock if you are preoccupied is another plus. All in all, this is a great investment considering its price. Well worth it for peace of mind for me. Highly recommend purchasing brand new.*(Bad experience when first purchased a certified refurbished. That’s in a separate review)
