It's funny enough that it works for SPN fans, but not so obscure that those that don't watch the show won't grasp the meaning. Ignore any review, good or bad, that doesn't reference SPN. Because this keychain is only ideal for a hardcore Supernatural fan. And honestly, it seems kind of silly that anyone who doesn't grin from ear to ear when they hear "Carry on Wayward Son" would order or review this. Moving on.My Wife loves me to death for getting her this keychain. I have never met a bigger SPN fan in my entire life. And I accept that should Jensen Ackles ever get divorced, she will promptly leave me for him. So when I saw that this was available, I didn't hesitate to order it. She was beyond thrilled. The quality of the keychain is good, and the box makes it very giftable. Is there cooler SPN merch out there? Well, yeah. Especially for around twenty bucks. But it's still something that any Supernatural fan will absolutely love, regardless. And that's all that matters to me. Wouldn't hurt if they dropped the price another five or ten bucks tbh, but I'm so glad I ordered it.

Seriously . . . this is the perfect keychain for any Supernatural fan. It arrives in a plain brown box with the saying printed on a card in the lid with interlocking hearts. I don't know why there are interlocking hearts, there just are. There is a thin foam piece in the box with a black velvet lining. So I would consider it giftable.The keychain itself is made of stainless steel so should not tarnish. Mine has worn well. It has a nice weight to it and feels like a well made keychain. The edge is straight but not sharp. The ring is tight and strong and hasn't pulled open. The text is impressed and also lined in black so clear and easy to read. I am very pleased to have this and wouldn't hesitate to gift it to a Supernatural fan. I am considering hanging it on the rearview window so I can point when my child shotgun has an opinion.

We bought this for our son (20) for Christmas. It's perfect for him because he and his friends have an ongoing joke about the rules for shotgun in the car. I love Supernatural. It's funny, it's weird, complex, and it's tension-filled - and I've grown to love the characters and their idiosyncrasies. Only those who know the show will "get" what's on this key chain, and that's part of the fun. I have it attached to my bag right now, but I'm thinking of hanging it from my rear view mirror. Seems a good place to pass on the message to those in the shotgun seat.The keychain itself is very sturdy and made of very solid stainless steel. It's well proportioned and the text is easy to read. It'll be a little tough to get wider things on it, because it is so sturdy, but I'd rather that then have something that feels cheap in my hands. You won't regret the purchase. Did I mention I love it?

Beyond what the listing picture shows, there isn't much to say. The metal is quality and the little metal ring that connects the key ring to the metal plate with the words on it feels pretty sturdy and I'm not concerned that one day I'll pull my keys out of my pocket and find only the key ring. The text is legible (although the "g" in "shotgun" looks odd since the tail of the "g" doesn't hang below the word, but it instead in line with the rest of the ext), but it's clearly not a licensed Supernatural product. Still, any Supernatural fan can identify the quote and will appreciate it. I wish there was something other than just text (the anti-possession symbol or something) but for what it is, I have no real issues.
