I have owned many types of desktop "angle poise" lamps.This one has an outstanding height and reach. The daylight setting is, imho, sufficient, in brightness, because the maneuverability allows one to position the lamp as near as one wishes to the work piece.I hope this helps you,Best regards.

Very modern looking, three options of light warmth.Only downside is that adapter cable is pretty short, so you may need extension lead to reach a plug. Cable is about a meter long. Otherwise great purchase.

So i bought this lamp to pimp my studio desk and it is incredibly chic in black. Im in love with it but it has some obvious failings.The thing is basically only bright enough for a bedside light. The dimming functions are pretty useless if unless you want to use it literally in bed. I had hoped to use it as an ambient room light, but its not bright enough for that... i suppose its a desk light afterall but i had the impression based on the output rating it was advertised with.Another thing I love about this lamp is the 3 colours of light. The daylight temperature is absolutely perfect. On overcast days i put it on and it adds a little pep to my day. The warm yellow light us an excellent representatiin of incandescent bulb also. I dont much like the bluish setting... but the day light is absilute gold.The lamp arm is incredibly articulate and very useable. It helps the materials are very lightweight, so it moves and positions very assuredly. You can trnsion the bolts too to increase tension. The only draw back is that the final finger containing the bulbs doesnt fold flat against the other arms.I love this lamp, i just wish it was brighter... i may buy another!

A stylish modern desk light that looks expensive.I've just finished making my new office and needed a desk light. My desk is fairly narrow so I wanted something I could clip onto a shelf and wouldn't take up much room whilst still looking great.I opted for the gold version as I wanted it to compliment my white office.The lamp is easy to set up just slot the pieces together, make sure you push them all the way in. Plug it in and then turn it on using the remote or the button on the lamp.By pressing the power button you switch between lighting styles, you can then dim the light with the +- buttons.The light can be manouvered into lots of positions and then folded nearly away when not needed which is very handy.At first the light doesn't appear to be very bright but that's because it's LED and doesn't leak light like traditional lamps. As such the light underneath the light is very good and the colour options allow for a choice of warmth which is perfect for close up work.I have noticed the lamp where the LED's are does get a little warm.An improvement for me would have been if the cable could have connected at the bottom of the lamp and not athe side but that just down to how I have the lamp set up.I'm hopeful I can set the lamp up with Logitech harmony so can voice control the lamp with alexa, I will update when I get time to test this. If I canr I will just add my Alexa Switches to control the on and off functions.

The lamp is great and was perfict to fit behind my computer screens, i love differant colour casts and brightness adjust, but after a few weeks I noticed the lamp would suddenly go off, at first i thought it may have been one of my cats as the walk on my desk while I work, but I noticed it would go off if you changed its position, I should have contacted the seller but being an electrical engineer I took it to bits and traced the fault to a dry solder join on the board inside, one quick resolder and now its fine.

So difficult to find a stylish, effective, adjustable desk light. This product hits the mark in almost every aspect! It even comes with a remote control. We’re I to nitpick I’d say the remote is a bit cheap. Would be good if it looked like the lamp arm. 110% recommended!!

This product is quite slick and works very well but its brightness is not adequate for me personally that is why I have not given it full marks.

Probably the best money I have ever spent on a light, sturdy once fitted to my office desk, excellent overall height and the 360 degree swivel head means you get the light in the exact position you need it, it doesn't blind you but sheds loads of light with the added bonus of a remote control for on/off and light strength up/down. Can't praise this product enough & certainly well worth the money.
