It is what it is, a low priced imported version at less than half the cost. The finish was excellent, the welds were smooth & even. The fit wasn’t perfect but I expected as much. One little tweak on the vice & it went on, no problem. Here’s a tip; anytime you install anything with multiple bolts, just get them all started then add thread lock one at a time, then tighten with a wrench once they’re all hand tight. Also, read the description. It says no instructions included. You really don’t need them.

I had to return mine as the holes don’t line up properly. However, I’ll do you all a solid and provide photos for installation. Tools you will need: * 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm allen keys. * 10mm and 12mm socket wrench (open end or box) 1. First photo, remove the these three sockets with 3mm allen key. 2. Second photo, remove the two sockets with 4mm allen key for the top and 5mm allen key for the one on the bottom 3. Third photo, these holes (1, 2, and 3) are where you will mount the crash bars on to. Remove the top (1) with 12mm socket wrench and bottom (3) with 10mm socket wrench Tip: Make sure you re-install the nut for the top hole (1) with your bar on the inside and then you can easily attach the bottom two (2 and 3). On the 4th photo, you will see the holes not lining up with my 2023 frame.

Wow, that was rough. Worst instructions I've ever seen, some bolts too short. It does function though, seemingly. If they just put the right bolts in there and had some proper instructions, this could easily be a 5 star product. Alignment was difficult. I really want to give this two stars, but the product works. Someone more mechanically inclined definitely could've done it all easier.

It takes a little patience to install but it fit perfectly and at much lower cost than comparable guards.

Please, spend the extra money for a better quality one. I bought this and was very disappointed with what I got. It was packaged great, no scratches, and the wedding looked clean. However. It was not welded together straight. After putting it on it was obviously crooked. One of the guards looked great, but the other one was not. Please, just spend the $200 for a good quality engine guard and save yourself the time and headache.

The crash bars were fairly easy to install. And that a good thing, because the instructions are a waist of time. Basically, just photos with some writing on top. The writing was in red ink and so tiny they could not be read. Otherwise, the crash bars went on easily and quickly, about 2 hours. We took off more plastic fairing than we need to. The instruction could have helped with that. But that in our only complaint (aside from the useless instructions).

Fit good. Bolts could have been a bit longer but they seem to work. Lock nut won't thread up to the threads so if it comes loose I'll be putting a bolt in about 1/8 inch longer. Original peg bolts are almost too short but work. It's not like they get stood on. Great value. good fit. Notice the pic showing that I've got the extended controls. It fit fine but the clutch pedal barely dragged the bar when made to so I put one washer under it. And you'll need a couple of washers for one of the peg bolts to make up the difference of the bar thickness in the front one. 4 nice quality 5/16 (8mm) washers for the pegs and one 3/8 (10 mm) washer for the forward control clutch and everything else works great. I looked closely at the orange bike here in the reviews as he added some very good pics. Hope mine help. A cheap price for bars that might save close to a grand for a dented fuel tank if the bike ever accidentally hits the ground.

I have 2020 model 1. the two braket the two lower hole in both side need to adjust bigger to make the bolts working adjustable, 2. right side part I need to do some cutting therefore not to hit the fluid break braket 3. wrong size 2 bolt for for upper still bar connector.

The install was not complicated, slightly annoying when you don't have small hands, does help having the right tools (I'm a mechanic). Doesn't hurt to have a can of black paint handy as you might get it banged up a little. If you want to make your install simpler, start with the longest bolt going through on top, don't put the nut yet. Reuse the original bolt on the bottom with second longest one from the package. You'll have to muscle it down and forward a little to line up the bottom holes, don't be scared it's like fighting rubber and once you got them in tight you can do the nut for the top. Run in the 2 bolts for the connecting rod before trying to install it, I found the threads in the rod were rusting a little making it tougher to thread the bolts in. The bars are very solid once installed, going to use them to install some extra LED spot lights later. Came with a couple of really small extra screws, no idea what they are for. Also there was a paper in it saying that I might have to bend the right side a little, did not have to on a 2019. I would have no problem buying this again, delivery was fast, install was not too bad.

The Photo shows the Engine Bars on a Vulcan-s unfortunately the Bars I have received look the same as thoes in the Photo but the Mounts do not Line Up and so will not fit. The quality of what I have received is very good.
