Hard Wire Kit Micro USB Compatible with Mini 0806, Mini 0805 and Mini 0803 Dash Cam,

I expected solderless terminals instead of the pigtails.

Really long wire and has lasted so far. I haven't had any issues, and my Mini 806 works wonders!I will update as time goes on!

The problem with this is the plug that goes into the camera. It has a 45 degree angle vs. being straight down. I didn't realize this when I ordered it and now I can not plug the GPS cable into the camera as it is blocked by the power plug. This was after I had to pay a dealer a lot of money to run the power line around my windshield and into the fuse box.If your camera is GPS enabled, this may NOT work for you.

I got this to hard wire in my dash cam (a different model than the one it's intended for) and it works great on my 2005 Honda Accord. The cord is long enough to run all the way from the rear view mirror along to the ceiling to the A pillar, down the A pillar, and into the fuse box with about 2 ft left to spare.This may be a stupid thing but I really wish the right angle on the micro-usb turned the other way. Right now, the cord goes down from my dashcam, then back up to where it's hidden beneath the liner. I didn't knock any stars off since it totally depends on which accessory you're trying to mount it to.

Description says it's for Mini 0803, but the way the angle is oriented it is incompatible. It needs to angle the other way.Also, the ground wire is super flimsy and weak, the wire snapped off after tightening the ground screw. Do NOT recommend. Try to find one with a U-shaped prong on the end.

Allowed me to route the wire from my dash cam (under the rear view mirror) to the fuse box. I used it with a fuse tap (add-a-fuse) so that I didn't have to cut any wires in the fuse box.

This product is marketed directly as a power supply for the MINI 08xx series of dashcams, which is why I purchased it . I suffered a MINI 0806 failure within a few days of use. MINI support states that it is the fault of the PS providing unstable power** Update **Put a USB voltmeter on this and it was not encouraging. I have to give it 1 star. Circuit used is a switched circuit so it turns on with the car. At start up the voltage varied between ~9 & ~6 volts. At steady cruising speed round town it was steady at 4.46volts, back in driveway at idle it was 6.69 to 6.71volts.

Great product. Has been working great thus far. My only problem was finding a ground (-) in my glove compartment (where my fuses are) which was not this product's fault.
