I used this to reopen my nose piercing. I was able stretched it open at my own pace. It also was easy to bend into a "J" shape so I could get it completely through my nose.

First, the photo of this item shows a taper with a ball end; that's not what I received. What I received was the tapered end so small that it took several minutes for me to find it. Second, I purchased this believing it would be able to aid me in inserting a curved earring through my daith piercing: we're talking about fitting a square peg into a round hole.

I'll admit that it's my bad that I didn't realize the taper itself wouldn't be as long as I needed. I managed to make it work for changing my high nostril jewelry, but it was a struggle. Though, as a threaded taper it did what it was supposed to, I just wish I would have paid attention to the length before purchasing.
