Godzilla Inflatable Costume Kit With Safety Light - Kids

I don't write bad reviews very often. But I want to save other parents from a whole lot of stress and disappointment. The costume arrived and looked fine. However, the zipper wouldn't work. So, I took it to a seamstress and had that fixed for $20. The zipper was very small and fragile so I figured I would be in the same boat again if I exchanged it. My son wore it a couple times and all was fine. However on the 3rd or 4th time, the fan didn't work anymore. We changed batteries and ended up realizing it was the wiring. So, the night before Halloween my husband ran to Microcenter to buy a soldering iron and wire strippers. He spent $40 on supplies and spent a couple hours fixing it. He got it to work. Unfortunately it only worked for a day because on Halloween, it didn't work anymore and it was no longer fixable. So, all told, we spent $120 on this costume including the price. We so badly wanted it to work.

This product was terrible. Straight out of the box there were issues. I put batteries in the fan and attempted to switch it on and due to the way it was packaged the wires were crimped so tightly it wouldn't run until I fixed it. Then when putting my son into it the back zipper came undone and wouldn't zip together correctly to hold the air from the fan in. After quite a bit of effort I got that together again tested it out and put it up until Halloween. Well I get my son into it and immediately get a high pitched squealing noise from the fan. The bearing was shot and wouldn't even keep my the costume blown up on Halloween. I would never reccomend the product to anyone and honestly would be hesitant getting any other costumes from rubies.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Hilarious love this costume. Great for kids. My 12 yr old is 5’8” but he wanted to try it on. He would do better with the adult size but was able to make this work since the feet are open and have an elastic band.

Would have been perfect if my son was a little taller. He is only four though, so the error was our fault. He did love it. He just couldn’t fit it.

My child wore this one time. As we got out at the FIRST house, we noticed the zipper was broke. As you know, without it being properly zipped, there is NO inflation. Needless to say, the night ended early. Very dissatisfied.

The zipper arrived broken, though the costume looked great otherwise. My son would have loved to wear this! Seller accepted the return.

Ruined Halloween. Fan worked for 10 minutes. My son is devastated. I’ll try to salvage this night with last years costume.
