I got this as soon as I realised mice (or rats?) were coming in from my neighbour's property to have something helping while I was waiting for a company to come help me with a more permanent solution. The description of the item does say it can take up to 3 weeks for it to start working and there may be more rodents at first as they make their way out of the building permanently, so I did bear this in mind.I had no pests living in my building so not sure what business a rat had running right in front of one of these repellers the day after I installed it - I would have thought a rat would at least be uncomfortable enough with the noise to actively avoid it. But again that was the first day.After that I have had a company help me seal off any potential entry points so that's probably the main thing that has ended my problem but I do feel reassured having these repellers around - the entry points seem undisturbed so it looks like nothing has tried to come in either. So I like to think of these as a supplementary tool to keep pests out rather than the main solution.I really like that you get 6 so you can put them around the whole place. Additionally, I was concerned I would hear the ultrasound or even if I didn't, it would give me a headache or something similar, as I have had this happen with similar devices in the past, so it was a pleasant surprise when that didn't happen.I do have an issue with these, however - they have a very bright blue light and as I have one of these in the bedroom, it does bother me quite a bit. It's so bright that even when I'm facing away from the side of the room it's in, I can still see it, so do bear this in mind if you are a light sleeper.

This item isn't bad on the whole bit I personally have found you have to 'play' about with where you position them. At a normal lounge socket height they don't work as well, however, at kitchen worktop level they work better. There are better out there but, there's far worse as well. If you are willing to try in various locations to find the best place I'd give them a try. To be fair for what you will pay, and for a little bit of effort to find the right spot, you can't go far wrong.

The product was poor quality as it wouldn’t fit into a British plug socket, the plastic that holds the metal three prongs was wide and prevented it fitting into the socket.However communication with the company was fantastic and provided a full refund without issue.

This product is advertised for sale on Amazon UK. It does not mention in the product description that the units are two pin electrical. Unless you are prepared to buy adapter plugs for each unit DO NOT BUY THESE for use in UK 3 pin sockets. I have now had these in place for a few weeks and still have spiders present. Two of the units supplied are also emitting a high pitched audible sound. I really would not buy these pest repellers.

I have had these plugged in for a few weeks now and the only pest that has been in my house is flies that I have soon got rid of. I have had no spiders and that is what I bought this product for.

Do you suffer from spiders in the home or other creepy crawlies or rodents? Have a good look at this product and see if it suits your particular needs, We have had them plugged in for a few weeks now and so far we have not seen any spiders.

Did I get a bad batch? Design of product prevents it from plugging in to a UK socket. It has a band of hard plastic around the top of each pin so that they don't push far enough into the socket to make a connection. I have standard sockets and only managed to get one out of six working.

These are suppose to be animal oy hearing. Had to stop using them as I could hear them too. Not human friendly and very easy breakable.
